It is always the same procedure:
1. Uninstall the game
2. Install the game
3. Install the patch
4. Install the DB
Leave out the last step if you don't want to install another DB. |

Yes. Next time, make a backup of the original game files before installing a DB Because most DBs won't only add files, they'll replace files. So if you uninstall it (not sure if the PCMDaily .exe includes an uninstaller), you'll delete a lot of files that came with the game - for example, most race logos, the post-race journal, several team jerseys (Cyanide non-licensed teams), etc.

Weird 'bug' and I'm not sure it's related to the PCM Daily expansion but I now see the lead car constantly 'merge' with the leading cyclists on major descents. As the lead group (of say 1-5 cyclists) slows down for a tight turn, the main car doesn't slow down at the same rate and then merges into the group. It's a purely cosmetic issue as they don't get squished but I don't believe I've ever seen this before. I'll try to get a screen cap tonight. Wondering if anyone else has seen this?
Is there any explanation for it occurring only with the expansion? I might be losing my mind?
It was eleven more than necessary.

Well, as you seem willing - you can choose any Continental team and check their riders and how they got on during last 2/3 seasons and adjust their stats accordingly. You can do it in Excel, and you can upload it and post them in PM too me. We'll see from there.

Seriously? Oh, nevermind. While I think I'd be good with stats, databases are not my forte. So that's what the stat discussion forum is for. People like me. I wouldn't be any worth because of my limited tech abilities anyway.

Not sure what you mean here. You don't need to go into the database, just write down the names and stats in an Excel file an upload them, like CountArach did here

Yes, that's nothing related to the DB though, rather to the game (if you haven't checked one texture per rider). It's been like this for a long time now.

What exactly does the one texture per rider setting do, Luigi? I've always assumed it was a 'make all riders look the same to save VPU processing' but never been sure.

Well I'm not sure if it's the only thing, but one of the things is that it makes each rider have their own number (rather than all riders from the same team have the same number), as can be seen in this screen:
https://pcmdaily.com/photogallery.php?...to_id=1419
And it actually does the contrary - it doesn't save VPU processing, it increases it and makes the game more probable to crash (more RAM use - unless I'm misunderstanding VPU processing, since I'm not 100% sure what it means, but you should know if I misunderstood it or not by the context I guess ).

For us to add the helmet it needs to be made by the graphics makers first.

How do I uninstall the game without deactivating it because I installed this with steam?
And how do I reinstall it afterwards?
Because I have the same problems like other people: pink/violet images and no bikes.
Thanks in advance. |
