Time for an update
Transfer season is over, which means our squad has been finalised. In fact, it's a been a while since we closed our negotiations. Renewals didn't leave much space for deals to take place, and as such, only a couple of riders were traded and no FAs were hired for the 2015 season:
Markus Fothen has been transfered to Movistar - US Postal, while Jose Martins has gone to Eddie Stobart. Other than that only a loan deal with our PT partners has been completed to exchange Bruno Borges for Ramon Domene for the duration of this season.
Our HC calendar can now be released as well. As expected, Volta a Portugal will provide the top point of interest for the team, while Tour of Britain will also be gathering our full attention.
Date | Race | Country | Category | January | 10 | Down Under Classic | | HC | February | 08-12 | Bayern Rundfahrt | | HC | 25 | Strade Bianche | | HC | March | 07 | Kenya Mountain Classic | | HC | 27 | E3 Prijs | | HC | 27-29 | Corsica International | | HC | April | 01-07 | Tour of Vancouver | | HC | May | 01-05 | 5 Jours de Dunkerque | | HC | June | 02-05 | Eneco Tour | | HC | 25-29 | Tour d'Andorra | | HC | July | 07 | Manx International | | HC | 15 | Tour of the Battenkill | | HC | August | 01 | Clasica San Sebastian | | HC | 05-15 | Volta a Portugal | | HC | 14-18 | Baltic Chain Tour | | HC | September | 07-14 | Tour of Britain | | HC | 24 | Rheden GP | | HC | October | 04 | Giro dell'Emilia | | HC | 16-20 | Tour of Beijing | | HC |
Format shamelessly copied from Karcher's thread
We now await the verdict of MG UCI regarding wildcards for PT and C1 category races in order to divulge our full calendar for the current season.

I hope that's your final squad aka no training for you this season, because it's already nearly impossible to beat that roster. I just doubt it is

Definitely a promotion squad. That said, Machado has limited race days and more or less needs to win all those.
Avelino on great wage. Big rider for you. Costa as well strong PCT guy.
Other than that though you have no big scorers. Reis to some extend I guess.
So you might end 1st, but could also end in 6th.
Nice squad and I actually like that you stayed with the 1mio man. |

Yeah, I wonder if Machado will go Volta, and either way I'm happy to avoid a couple of Costa's race days he'll have in band 6, and to have a "free" band 1.

Promotion will be simple, the PCT title is a bit tirckier but this team will be right in the fight for the top divisional honor.

Thanks for the confidence guys
I think we have very solid leaders for PCT, but I tend to agree with roturn when he says that those leaders don't have much margin to fail.
Coming into the transfer season I thought my climbing lieutenants could be given leadership in secondary races, but with the surge of >80 MO climbers into PCT my backup plan will surely come to frustration.
That said, I think my lack of depth won't be that big of a deal this year. I can't complain much tbh. Good luck everyone, see you on the race tracks

Porto - Prio is back!
Hello again everyone. It seems things are heating up again on the MG headquarters and our staff is no exception. We are very excited to see everything coming to life again and wish everyone good luck on eating Porto - Prio's dust
Ahah, eat my dust, NOOBS!
That's right we have exchanged our title sponsors order too! It's stupid all right, but we are determined that this will be crucial to turning our results upside down!!!
We hope to announce a new team kit in a near future, but meanwhile you can revisit our times of glory in our history section down below:

Thanks to our graphics department we are able to announce our new kit for the upcoming season. It marks a radical change from our typical outfit but the final outcome is outstanding in our perspective. We would like to send a huge word of gratitude and respect to our incredible kit designer: aidanvn. Enjoy!

Renewals, goals and a bitter farewell
Porto - Prio, much like every other team by now, has completed its preliminary bureaucracy with goals set in stone as we're sending in more and more people to Fátima sanctuary to pray for our sorry lads. Here is their menu:
Nat | Goal | | Top 5 - Team Standings | | | Win - Tour d'Andorra | | | Win - Volta a Portugal | | | Win - Giro del Trentino | | | Win - Colombian Venteaux | |
Renewals have ended too and the writing is on the wall. We're keeping most of the guys with us with the exception of our beloved angolan champion, Dario Antonio. He delivered many bottles throughout his time with us and we are very thankful for his services. We hope his colourful shirt helps him find a team for 2016.
More interestingly, Rui Costa, our hilly leader will be looking for a new team on the upcoming transfer season! Despite his outstanding attributes he just wasn't able to find his mojo with the team, hence why we decided to part ways. May he find better luck in different colours... and preferably in a different division.

Hmm. Would love to have Costa back, but I don't know where the funds will come to have such a homecoming. We'll certainly be in talks though like always.

Well it looks like Amador and Machado will butt heads in one of those races. I'm sure it will be exciting, luckily we have targeted other races for the rest of our goals
Good luck in the transfers Gustav.

Yeah, Machado and Amador can turn into the other PCT stage racers nightmare... especially when they split forces. Just hope the limited race days stop them from winning all the main events.
Other than that, good luck in your fight for promotion!

Machado on 700k is a great buy, and you can spend that last 300k you saved on getting in another couple of riders that will push you into the top division again.
Good luck!

I may have to go back to my old tactic and hire a few Portugese guys... Costa would probably be quite good for the Tour of Ukraine and such
