Incredible ride by Simon Clarke. And a great person too. Ecstatic for him. Nordhaug too.
Clarke really has come a long way in the 2 seasons, a great result from him

Nibali can be proud of his efforts after crash. He can take motivation for his preparation for next year. No other rider could have done that. Atleast he did not retire like some other nations.

I've been saying this for years and I'll say it yet again: Costa is some sort of tactical genius. Time and time again he's not the strongest in any terrain but pulls it out of a hat.
you're not the only one, I said it too after one of his first wins, I just for the life of me can't even remember what race it was. But after that he repeated the same style of wins time and time again. Everytime he is somehow not the favorite, doesn't seem the strongest, but still wins.
I feel sorry for Rodriguez.
I feel sorry for Valverde.
I feel sorry for Nibali.
I feel sorry for Uran.
I think all of these thought they could win. Until the whole race ended with a win to the only guy in the group that would be happy with a podium. Fantastic race.
