@Ulrich: In case you are serious, you obviously did nothing wrong. Intimidating other teams certainly wouldn't move one up a list of most friendly teams if there was one

So apparently giving continental teams the choice between ruining their own team and losing the riders they built their whole team for (and relegated for) is cool now, I really thought there was a line here... :/

Correct, we are not a friendly team. We are an isolated team with minimal Interaction with other teams.
Steal attempts don't bother me really, do whatever you want, my team philosophy won't change because of them.

Can you explain me where the difference between making that big steal offer for your young talents you built your team for and stealing that one big star (Aru, Contador last season) they have built around is in your opinion?
Or why it would be okay to steal pot 7 talent X from Filliers but not pot 7 talent Y from SAP?
Spoiler im strongly against steals as long as transfers are a possibility and i refused to make a single steal attempt once again but i struggle to see the difference between those situations

Yeah, agreed, I don't really get the whole 'sweet innocent CT team' vibes as a reason why it's morally reprehensible to use steals on such a team. Fact is, if everyone can steal, then it's only fair that everyone can get stolen from, and every team should be prepared for that possibility. And even if you choose not to steal, you had the option and you chose not to, that shouldn't exclude you from being vulnerable to steals yourself based on some moral high ground. The only teams that shouldn't be stolen from are new teams, and quite conveniently, those are the only teams that can't be stolen from.

I think Bikex asks for R1 so that everyone who made some steals on your riders can advance to R2 and R3. In the past it was okay when i just told him whether id match steal attempts early and then do the rest of renewals at a slightly later point.

Very few steal attempts work out, that's why relegating teams and high-calibre wt teams with too many stars are good targets. But that's not a guarantee at all.
It was possible to effectively block talents. That's really all I have to say to this.

I feel sorry for you. I guess we are kinda in the same situation. Last season relegation because of a wrong focus to a limited amount of leaders. To me it feels maybe bad I spent so much money on training while I just could have signed Chris Froome for the same amount of coins and probably got save from relegation. The bet went wrong Aru on his own couldn't save the squad although he did what he had to do.
For me also it feels bad someone tried to steal World champ and Giro winner Aru and my first upcoming talent Colombo; for which I paid 1800 coins for training + 1470 wage last season. Probably 1/3 of the total budget last season. I don't know if it would have been cheaper if I just did the blocking, but I didn't trust in that. 20% + what he asks seems like way to much and seems like a big risk as you don't know what he's asking.
The fact I've paid so much money on training last season might also be a good thing. I didn't have to defend many top riders. In the end it would be cool if we give all teams a free block at the same wage as the last season(except if min wage is higher then the current one) or the choice of an extra 500 budget or something like that.
After all I saved both Aru and Colombo. I keep Formolo in support. Pirazzi, Capecchi, Amador, Modolo are all out of my squad. Too bad I couldn't save Bonifazio and Tempesta but after all I think i kept a descent squad. See you all in Trentino or if Bikex finally changes it, in The Tour of The Alps
On another note I think it would be cool to add apart of the talents 25 real riders every season (maybe before FA/MAX pot6/Age23). I really miss Albanese in my team . I thought if every team sends in a list of 10 riders like in the favourite riders contest. Rider on pos 1 gets 10 points, 2nd 9 points, 3th 8 points, ........

Sorry Krisa for the huge steal offer on Aru, but being honest, it was maybe my only ever chance to have the biggest Italian rider in the game, a 82/80 climber that won't decline for other 3-4 seasons. And if i could have in the same CT team Aru and Moser, it would be very difficult not to promote this season, and already have two top class leaders for a WT debut would be a huge advantage.
Also, for whoever tried an steal on Pantano, i let you know that you won't get him just yet. The wage i have to pay him now isn't much higher than his minimum wage, so it was an easy choice. Anyway, if you are still interested on him we can talk during transfers
