Interesting comparison, maybe there was a tail wind for the Swedish race?
I expect the Worlds to be a hillier course too.

Too bad. Tom David in the NZ shirt would have been good - especially if I am to sell him.

A very nice top 10 by Schoonbroodt in NL. Hope it won't make him demand more wage, though. |

Hmm, I may have misinterpreted the rules, but is there any reason why Manfredi didn't participate in Italy? |

Same here with Battaglin, although he wouldn't have done anything

Pretty happy with Caruso's effort there!
In reply to those above, you needed 3 riders to guarantee participating in Italy, after that the smaller team's would depend on who had a chance.

Ugh, stay away from my NCs next year jph Disappointing to see them both posted so close to each other, and disappointing to see them both shoot towards the top of the upset list. Particularly Luxembourg, which has been unfavourable to the team for a few years already, and a win for Gastauer would have been really nice and deserved.
At least Eyob was an Eritel rider loaned out

@Vien, @Abhishek There were a couple of countries which involved more than 24 teams, including Italy, so iirc both are your only rider from Italian in your teams, and neither are too capable in the hills, so your teams were some of those "withdrawing" from that NC

Cool to have Nascimento take his brazilian TT NC. Would have loved to take the RR as well but that was always going to be too unlikely. Congrats to Berg for the victory there!

Very happy to retain the GBR TT NC
As expected, we aren't necessarily competitive in the other NCs so far, would have liked to have been better in the GBR road race but maybe next season!

Indeed, as was covered in the first post:
Belgium, France and Italy are the only three nations where not all eligible riders can take part - as riders are spread across more than 24 teams. Having 3 riders from those countries guaranteed participation for a team, with the remainder selected by choosing the most suitable riders for the chosen course.

Happy with Sergent's narrow TT win. I do hope though, we'll be able to snatch more jerseys. Especially the Chinese and Hong Kong jerseys are important for us, and if we have a good day, we might also end up with the Kazakh jersey. |

Two TT-champions there, sorry for Ji to miss out the RR-title.
Seems like I have to finally buy Chen Shikai too
EDIT: Shit, forgot I'm a CT-team now.... |
