Mh, given away 3rd, still in the green jersey... Would be a good result, but I'd like something a little extra.

No break for us again
Improving results of Kadri. Hopefully he can pick up some even better results or climb into the top-10, or even better, both

4th is a big improvement, but LLS needs to go from further out and gain some time if he wants to grab a top 10 at least. Thanks again Roturn.

Great team display here, getting the overall lead is really nice. Slagter with another beastly performance here.

Good job by Dyrnes, seemingly being alert and close to the front towards the end of the stage. Good win by McCarthy, congratulations, Dippofix! Seems unrealistic Dyrnes shall keep McCarthy behind him in the GC, but hopefully he can fight for it. |

Horrible day for us and big fail from Vanendert. Thanks for the report roturn. Hoping that things will turn in the next two stages and we can salvage something.

Good enough by Waeytens, wuld be great if he can gain a few more spots in tomorrow's stage, where the mountain stat should have a bit of an impact
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Ouch, bad day for Monfort. Expected this to happen at some point, but hoped he could've kept the leader jersey a bit longer.
Strong McCarthy attack; congrats!

Sad to see Monfort losing his lead, although he is still doing a very strong (and better than expected) GC.
Just two more days for him to get a great result for Gazelle.
Also nice to see Vakoc doing slightly better here, also climbing towards those positions that gives a bit of points. A breakaway from him could give a decent GC aswell...
Aker also very strong.

About the earlier discussion: I agree that for the sake of game balance hilly rated races shouldn't be decided by the mountain stat. We know for a fact that SN and roturn have a great attention to detail and I'm pretty sure that the calendar and A VG/wage algorithms are very w ell balanced to make sure that all types of riders are viable. An entire hilly tour going mountainous would disrupt that balance. The hilly stat should decide at least 50% of performance and nothing less.
So good decision to rerun. But very sour for Croatia of course; thanks for the effort you put in!
Sorry, but i found all these things very funny, since majority of races is decided by large portion by daily form. You can balance what you want, but you cant unbalance that...

And green jersey gone
Cunego seemed to be struggling on a few of the shots, hope he can keep the GC position he has right now.

Another good ride by Waeytens, too bad he didn't grab the boni seconds, but it seems it wouldn't matter much anyway. Nice try by Dall'OSte as well, let's see if he has anything left from his Giro tactics and attacks tomorrow as well

Good that LLS could snatch a few points here after some bad performing earlier!

Thank you for the report and the pace they're coming with, roturn!
Also congratulations to trekbmc, that move by LLS puts him in contention for an overall podium, I think.
Another brilliant performance by Dyrnes, a podium is much more than expected and hoped. Suddenly it's only one stage separating him from a great GC result here. It looks like a brutal one, though, which probably also suits the pure puncheurs better than stage 2. I won't be surprised to see him struggle to keep riders like McCarthy, Di Maggio and LLS behind in the overall, but all I can ask is that he fights for it, which he has done in a superior way so far. Looking forward for that final stage! |

great to see LLS perform again, would be unfortunate if he did that much worse in the rerun.
team still looking great, slagter climbing GC-wise as a helper is impressive. just one more atage to go!

In the break this time at least. Meyer underperforming again though, strange to see him do worse here than he have done in PT.
A good race for our Norwegian friends though, in dev and ember. With an easier stage left now, they should be able to hold their positions.
Thanks for doing this so quickly, roturn.

Getting a bit tight at the top now! Nearly the entire top 10 could change around tomorrow/ Congrats trek, LLS went into beast mode again and nobody could follow. Aziz quietly into second now, interesting to see if he can see out tomorrow for a podium spot. Cunego and McCarthy breathing down his neck though.
Thanks roturn

Guess Monfort went very deep for his heroic stage 1 win, because that's his second very weak stage in a row.
