Drapac! 5th is really nice, wonder how he will hold up in a normal sprint?
I told you he would be a nice addition I mean, just look where CT-rivals like Meyer or Matthews finished.
Second report to be posted right away? Not sure yet
look where fellow CT rival Awang finished
I'm not sure whether to take that as a good sign for the season ahead or if he's trying to raise false expectations.

Great win for Bennett! I'm not expecting consistency from him in the season, as the crits have already shown, but a few big results like this will do nicely!
Australia now losing 0-2 here

Bennett continues to be an on-or-off sprinter. But this win definitely proved that he may score you some points on a good day. Hawkins, btw, with a nice leadout there. And Howard keeps collecting 2nd places at The Bay

I'm a little disappointed with Allan Davis, clearly has an obligation to do better than this

Very happy with Haig's performance in the first round. A pity that he was caught so close to the finish, but a breakaway was all we could ask for.
Once again, thanks for organizing this, tsmoha

Krieger next year should be a similar (bit weaker recovery) sprinter than Bennett. Will be fun to see if he can take some notable results then.
Also nice to see Edmondson in the breakaway. |

Great result for Ito grabbing one point after fulfilling helper duties for Hatanaka, also Gyung Gu Jang with a nice result in 15th. |

Nice results for Japan on the hilly crit stage Hatanaka looked strong, but maybe too much time spent going hard on the hill and not enough energy saved for the sprint for the win.

Hilly stage as meh as expected, but three guys in the Top 10 on stage too as well as Drapac 5th overall is great.

Have to second that. I hope he stays that active for the rest of the season.

Looks like Hatsuyama did some good work for the Japanese Team on Stage 3, and wasn't all that bad himself.

Lloyd was super impressive in this event. Four great and had days racing really deserved him a higher placing, but that's the nature of the sprinters crits. Last year JTL was visible but easy enough to ignore. Lloyd has stepped it up a notch and hopefully that signals a good season for him. (Ewan doing badly is a good thing as it means a nice big wage drop if he keeps it going)

I'm a little disappointed with the performance of Davis, but in this type of racing is normal the breaks are always a problem.

Lived it Tsmoha, much much appreciated work in what is in some ways a nice relaxing stress free pre season style race. Nice to see Matthews coming through there, I think that lead out could be seen a few times this year, very strong for a CT.
Congrats to all the winners and also thanks for allowing young Destribios to ride a nice experience. Enjoyed the hilly race the most, but all the flat Crits were cool.
