Steegmans went first through that last corner, it was Cav who didn't follow.

This.
Slowing down like that in a mass sprint. What the hell was he doing?
Doesn't mean Cav had to go the left there. I assume he saw Veelers there, so he just had to wait 1 more second, but he didn't want to, because he was to far in the back.
That's his problem, but it shouldn't mean he may suddenly go the left without having place there.
If I'm not mistaken there was a slightly turn to the left

You're right, but they were already passed that turn.

Velits and Terpstra finished their turns WAY too early. Leaving Trentin Steegmans and Cavendish with 2km to go. Trentin tried to tuck in behind Lotto. Failed Steegmans did very well to drag past lotto and argos train but it was a bit too early Cav dropped behind Greipel.
Ahh Veelers just realised Kittel wasn't on his wheel no mechanical then Cav thinks he will peel left he then peels right slightly as Cav goes to the left (too tight anyway) and takes him out. Messy and a mistake but not malicious I think. Be interesting to see what they do...
Veelers moved slightly to the left, Cav moved slightly to the right. They hit each other and Veelers crashed because he was easing up after doing his work. No need to throw Cav out

You obviously weren't watching.
Come on. Someone has to be with me. You don't take a guy out and get away with it. Cycling isn't a contact sport!
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

As you said, very early from Steegmans. With time the sprint train will evidently prove, given the fact this is the first big tour in 2013 where all the main sprinters have been present (Griepel, Kittlel, Sagan) they have a bit of an excuse.

Maybe if you turn off your Cav-hate you might be able to give a reasonable answer

Totally agree with Spilak. Totally disagree with you

bblover is right here. Cav should be thrown out! Veelers was going on straight line (repeat video multiple times to see that, please!) and Cav, for some unknown reason (not saying that he wanted to do that) gone left and cleaned up him from road.

Nah, give him a break, I'd say I kinda like Cav but I think that looked malicious. Dick move from Veelers for sure, but not the way to deal with it.
