COPA AMERICA DE CICLISMO
Alexander Serebryakov
Rubens Bertogliati
Julien El Fares
Javier Megias
Vegard Stake Laengen
Daniele Colli
Aldo Ino Ilesic
Laszlo Bodrogi
Four riders have formed the first break of the day and have already managed to get the lead over a minute and twenty seconds. They are J.Arredondo/Team Nippo, Mendes/LA Antarte, Palmer/Drapac and Fiedler/Team NSP Ghost
The lead has been stretched out to over four and a half minutes, the peleton will have to start reacting soon or it could keep growing
We sent Rubens to the front to use his time trialling brilliance to try and reduce the gap
The leaders advantage has been cut dramatically thanks to the hard work being done by Bertogliati/Team Type 1 on the front of the peleton, the lead is now 2m 3s
As the leaders pass under the twenty kilometre to go banner there lead is now only just over a minute as the pace behind is being stepped up by a number of teams
Rapha Condor Sharp are bringing the bunch to within touching distance of the days breakaway
And now its our turn as Daniele Colli powers his way to the front as we look for the perfect lead out for our super fast Russian Serebryakov
Under the flame rouge and the race for the line has begun
But its not to be for us today as Ian Wilkinson of Endura Racing takes the spoils here in Rio

Well, good effort from TT1 riders but Serebryakov had some competition. Btw, Wilkinson is from Endura (guess that's what you meant in Southerland's comment )
The reporting style is nice, but I missed a bit of Rio's landscape that Margh Norway recreated to perfection in this one in the screenshots Good luck for the rest of January

Nice try form TT1, you need to do only 2 places better now

I really like the layout sutty, especially the 'x km to go' road signs and the checkered flag
Let's hope Fabio can rise above his 58 TT stat!

fcancellara - From a graphics expert like yourself, that is a great compliment
Ian Butler - With a 58 TT stat, just to finish will be a classed as a success |
