Complete disaster in Cigar City, with De Backer, despite being a top10 favourite, nowhere to be seen, but Pelucchi making up for it with a 2nd place in P-KV-P.
Also, looking at the rankings, unless we start to massively overperform everywhere we ride, we'll have to settle with a battle for a 5th place between CT teams, which isn't a bad place at all

Two really good team results, with four riders in the top 22 in Tampa and even four in the top 15 in Prague.

We fell a place in the rankings after August and looking at the gaps, we can still be dragged into the relegation battle unless we keep some consistency going. September is not a very busy month so a lot of the consistency will need to come from Porte, which is somewhat worrying given his track record so far.

The rankings update still looks nice with us being able to defend 2nd behind Vittel.
September has already started with two classics and both were pretty good. Cancellara wasn't that great in Cigar City Classic but Beuret made up for that with a very good place in the top 10. Ponzi also did very well with 6th in Praha-Karlovy-Praha, can't really complain about that.
Thanks Bikex and Shonak.

Thanks Shonak! Shame Lindeman couldn't make a third in a row in the only ICL race he ever won.
Vuelta will start tomorrow and it will be a very special one!
This can only mean that Liberty Seguros sweeps the hattrick of Vuelta wins, riiight?

We have so many good U23 TTists, it's not even intentional.
Fun lead-in to Avenir though.

First of many for our young classics man Astier, excellent stage win in America!

Yes! That's how you start a race Moreno!
Destroying everyone in the first hilly stage, and then go and beat Tony Martin in the TT, and only being beaten by Thomas for the stage win

Hmm Martin putting on a sketchy ITT As long as he keeps his 4th it's ok, right around where we expected him to finish. Congratz tho Aquarius I was expecting something like that

Three second stage places for Moser in-a-row starting from the TT And i think Moser will need a breakaway win in the final stage to be able to win the Points Jersey

Thanks to Shonak for the Cascade video, great to see the tide of Suntory Orangina orange at the front.
Congrats to the_hoyle for a fine win at Cascade.
Three in the top 10 keep the points rolling in for our U23 team.

Wtf
Martin even came up to 3rd so it's a successful Tour of Britain, even with the lack of stage results.

Moser winning the GC and the Points in Britain
But a little upset with his performance in S6, as De Marchi did an amazing effort in the early part of the climb, just for Moser to sit up and watch how Ulissi attacked and took the win, while he only bothered to sprint in the last 700 metres, losing a clear stage win

First world problems, Aquarius! Congrats!
I'm not going to complain that much or even at all that my team wasn't able to show more of itself in our home tour, a decent GC result for Valgren, one breakaway appearance, that's all. First time this season we didn't make the top 10 in the teams ranking.

That tempo is absolutely amazing this year. A big thanks to all reporters. ToB was really fine race. Our 4th stage win, so I'm okay with that. I was expecting something better from Komisarek and Ulissi 6th in GC isn't what I was looking for. But still okay. Nowaczek also was fine as 12th place is good. I think I'll stay at 5th spot in CT. |

Tour of Britain was disappointing. Last two Stages made up for what Mohoric missed though
