July is brought to a close with the final ITT in Vancouver. Can Uran hold off Kelderman?
https://pcmdaily.c...st_1150352
Spoiler Awful performance from my guys. 6th place isn't too bad but if Joe had actually put in any effort instead of following people, he could have been higher. Not to mention the guy who has already finished top 10 in a Grand Tour this year barely squeezing in to the top 20. It's no better when you're actively watching your team fail.

Meh not too impressed about Cataldo's showing in Vancouver, it was legit to expect something more really.
Leopard with a great last 2 months or so, congrats!

He delivers... Much wow. Apparently he's doped tho...
Also, I forgot there was a man named Fortin on our squad. Wow
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Wow you two were quick posting those races, had hoped to have the races done until Friday. Thanks for helping out.
Rankings update now as well posted: Prorace as expected ahead of Italo now and I expect it to stay that way until the season ends. Also Froome took over the top from Nibali, I hope he regain that spot though with still some races to go for him.
Also I'm impressed how Telecom Namibia does so far. A team with the leftover riders from Africa doing so well maybe should attract some new teams from there next season.
Stunning month by Kelderman winning 3 stage races sees him and his team take over the CT rankings. Leopard basically can already start planning for next season on WT level.
Later tonight I'll still post the August preview.
Reporters can pm me already if they want to do some races then and which ones.
I'm also planning to race an Olympics race.
Until the end of August I hope to have done the scouting sheets so we can also already start with that. |

8th place still but Filliers will probably get us before the end of the season. Still, 9th would be our best ever finish so we're going the right way.

Decent enough on WT rankings for Saeco but pretty rubbish on Prestige... which should I be most worried about?
Fiat moving up thanks to that nice Taschin chrono win.

Hopefully Purito can snatch some valuable WT points in Spain, otherwise unfortunately not too many CT pts up for grabs for us anymore so we won't significantly improve in Prestige unfortunately.
Not sure how to go into next season and do my scouting this year.

10th in World Tour is a great showing for Eurosport in our first year. Will be tough to hang on to that placing after La Vuelta.
Dev team is not doing much, as expected.
Great fun and big thanks to Bikex, Matt, Brewers and Croatia for the reports.

Mmmmm mmm mm. Yeah, a great looking update for us. In most of the races to go we have someone who could get top 10s on a good basis. No Gilbert at the Vuelta so it is all about VDB there: that race will be the key one to hold the advantage over Italo: as I don't doubt Italo will eat into our advantage in 90% of the other races still to come.
Looking good. Thank you Bikex. |

Rankings (not counting U23) still not looking good for me. I have some hopes that we will improve again a bit with both Kittel and Sagan having roughly half their RDs left.
Kittel: Vuelta, Quebec, Vattenfall and Paris-Tours
Sagan: ToNE, World Ports, Course de la Paix, Quebec, Bucaramanga, Il Lombardia
I still consider CarbonSports as favourite for a top five finish but we need a dominant ToNE (Sagan, Van Avermaet, Kristoff, Senechal there) and a Kittel show in the Vuelta (vs Degenkolb, Greipel and Nizzolo) to get there.
Meanwhile ProRace looking very strong for for the fight on top of the ranking.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

I have now posted the August preview: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....st_1151368
3 months to go.
Also the Olympics are around the corner, based on the current country rankings I could determine the teams for the races. 25 Teams are allowed to participate among which are 21 single country teams and 4 mixed teams. For each continent the best 2 countries are allowed to have a team except for Europe (12 Teams) and Oceania (1 Team). In the spoiler are the countries that qualified for that:
Spoiler 1 | 1 | Italy | 16227 | EU | 2 | 2 | France | 15448 | EU | 3 | 3 | Belgium | 13211 | EU | 4 | 4 | Netherlands | 10498 | EU | 5 | 5 | Spain | 9869 | EU | 6 | 6 | Colombia | 9056 | SA | 7 | 8 | Great Britain | 8445 | EU | 8 | 7 | Germany | 7153 | EU | 9 | 10 | USA | 5425 | NC | 10 | 9 | Australia | 4976 | OC | 11 | 13 | Poland | 3606 | EU | 12 | 11 | Denmark | 3589 | EU | 13 | 12 | Norway | 3211 | EU | 14 | 14 | Czech Republic | 2563 | EU | 15 | 15 | Slovenia | 2214 | EU | 20 | 18 | South Africa | 1347 | AF | 28 | 29 | Kazakhstan | 676 | AS | 29 | 31 | Eritrea | 620 | AF | 31 | 30 | Canada | 564 | NC | 38 | 38 | Brazil | 269 | SA | 41 | 41 | Japan | 135 | AS |
As for the mixed Teams, there are two teams from Europe each containing 5 countries.
Spoiler Team 1:
16 | 16 | Slovakia | 1724 | EU | 18 | 17 | Ireland | 1603 | EU | 21 | 20 | Sweden | 1299 | EU | 23 | 19 | Luxembourg | 1224 | EU | 25 | 24 | Switzerland | 1045 | EU |
Team 2:
17 | 23 | Estonia | 1629 | EU | 19 | 21 | Portugal | 1517 | EU | 22 | 22 | Austria | 1262 | EU | 24 | 25 | Russia | 1199 | EU | 26 | 26 | Croatia | 878 | EU |
The other two mixed teams are intercontinental mixed teams, the first one from the Americas (3 countries from each America) and the other one containing 3 Asian and African countries plus New Zeeland.
Spoiler Team 3:
33 | 33 | Costa Rica | 452 | NC | 40 | 40 | Venezuela | 179 | SA | 46 | 50 | Argentina | 69 | SA | 47 | 55 | Mexico | 66 | NC | 51 | 49 | Bolivia | 53 | SA | 52 | 50 | Barbados | 40 | NC |
Team 4:
30 | 28 | New Zeeland | 584 | OC | 36 | 34 | Ethiopia | 384 | AF | 42 | 42 | Iran | 102 | AS | 44 | 43 | Sambia | 101 | AF | 45 | 44 | Algeria | 85 | AF | 53 | 52 | Malaysia | 39 | AS | 54 | 54 | Kirgizistan | 26 | AS |
However as I'll race the race through the WC option it is possible in the mixed teams that not every country will get a spot on the team.
Unlike the WCs this time every team will have the same number of riders, 7 for the Road Race and 3 for the TT.
Countries that scored points this season but won't be in Rio at the Olympics are in the next spoiler.
Spoiler 27 | 27 | Lithuania | 851 | EU | 32 | 35 | Belarus | 492 | EU | 34 | 32 | Ukraine | 438 | EU | 35 | 36 | Greece | 420 | EU | 37 | 37 | Hungary | 313 | EU | 39 | 39 | Turkey | 206 | EU | 45 | 45 | Latvia | 102 | EU | 48 | 46 | Moldavia | 64 | EU | 49 | 47 | Cameroon | 59 | AF | 50 | 48 | Cyprus | 54 | EU | 55 | 53 | Morocco | 25 | AF | 56 | 57 | Simbabwe | 18 | AF | 57 | 55 | Namibia | 17 | AF | 58 | 59 | Dominican Republic | 6 | NC | 59 | 58 | Tunisia | 5 | AF | 60 | 59 | Brunei | 3 | AS | 61 | 61 | Curacao | 2 | NC | 62 | - | Chile | 1 | SA | 62 | 62 | Panama | 1 | NC |

Yeah, big races coming up. Cobbles: a big factor. No big favourite for us in those WT races but Langeveld should be in the mix. With some good luck we might even sneak a win, that would be something: would be refreshing to have a win which isn't from Frilbert.
Poland a big highlight to come, hopefully!
Thanks again Bikex. |

Dropping below Alitalia isn't so good, but August looks like the time for our points to turn around, Terpstra is built for TONE and he can also perform at Eneco Tour. Hopefully this will be a good push for keeping clear of relegation.
Thanks for the updates bikex.
