Come on Landa, shouldn't he remove his cap at the antemn,
OR was it a Basque protest of some sort ?????

oh well, good for mr zubeldia 2nd
I'll never understand the logic in believing that a certain rider deserves to finish above another rider despite completing the course in a slower time.

Real shame Petacchi had to abandon yesterday. What a career he had. Without a doubt one of the best sprinters ever. Basically achieved everything a sprinter could achieve.

Contador's team will have to step up for TdF. Anyway having more contenders means tactical advantage but at some stage you just need your team. Froome, Nibali and Quintana will have strong teams. Also dont forget Katusha. Purito could make top 5. They also will get a strong team with Moreno and Spilak.
Personally I'm disappointed with Kreuzinger. He should have been top 5 but just made Contador vulnerable. Same with Basso. Majka and Kiserlovski are only 2 other strong climbers they have. Surely they will be there. But along with team for Sagan and train for him too, things will be messy. They need Bjarne Riis to sort the team. |

Great to see both Romanians finishing the Giro. Each were in a breakaway of the day and Grosu also managed a 5th place in a sprint so some decent results for their first participation

I can follow ruben on that one, Kruijswijk was better in the mountains and animated the race in the last week. However, its also about paying attention through 3 weeks and if you are caught napping, its just too bad, but yeah... |

It hasn't been the hardest Giro, but finishing his first GT at 22 is quite impressive. I think and hope he can develop into a very decent rider.
Meanwhile, Astana takes 5 stage wins and has 2 riders on the podium, 3 in top 15, 4 in top 20, 6 in top 25, 7 in top 35. And their best rider wasn't even here. Sky should take notes.

He said IF he would win TdF, he thinks that Contador should go in on the Vuelta as well. From what I have heard, its not like he think he has won the Tour yet at all |

Vuelta to fuck up his 2016 season maybe, I imagine the recovery would take ages after riding three GTs as a conteder. But yes I'm with Tinkov, if Contador wins the Tour too, he should try to make the triple.

Heavy discussion between Monfort and Van den Broeck in Cervinia friday. Jealousy over an 11th place in GC
Confirms the reports that VDB will not stay at Lotto next year.

Well that was a bit of a washout of a third week for me personally, unfortunately didn't catch a single minute of it. Entire week of illness compounded by some rather tragic personal matters.
On the bright side, Mikel Landa.

Just wanted to leave this here. Tinkov dyed his hair pink because of Contador's giro win. The guy is totally nuts. I wonder if he'd dye his hair yellow after Conta wins the Tour. |
