I don't really care what type of terrain for the WC is, since only Theo Bos, Hoogerland or Gesink are likely to be competing in it. It's really a testament to the uselessness of Arashiro, Shirota and Masuda that Japan is actually behind Panama, Bermuda, Hong Kong and Marc de Maar in the prestige ranks

Yay just saw the rankings were posted while I was writing the post yesterday
Positive update for us, didn't climb any positions but recuperated some points on Saeco, which is our main objective, so that's definitely good
It could be that we can even overtake them in the final races but I doubt so sadly. Thanks Bikex!
IMO, it would be nice to see a challenging route from every point of view. Would be really exciting to have some cobbles as well for once but it's your call, doesn't make much difference to me

Great to come back with Mollema taking the Vuelta and Olivier taking l'Avenir!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Recent results have gone better than expected but still surprised and delighted to see Eurosport-Pepsi top of the Continental Tour.
Starting to wonder how we will cope in the WT, need a bit of luck in the transfer season.
Thanks to Bikex for the updates, already looking forward to next season.

What jumps out at me is that the auto promoted teams from last season are just outside the relegation places and Ecopetrol, who were well down in the CT division, could still finish 2nd! Exciting battle for 2nd of which we are apart of.
The bottom three WT teams had awful squads for WT, largely to indifference I guess, so it isn't surprising those inactive teams are down there.
--------
I'm not sure about a cobbled WC, the way cobbles have been this season. Maybe we could have a long cobbled WCITT though? Medium mountain WCRR for me.
Check out the Teams thread for the first confirmed team for next season. |

Well they went all in with Quintana and Betancur which was obviously the smartest thing one can do as a newly promoted team; you are automatically a big team then with such signings.
Nice update in the team section.
Richmond as WC course would be cool as well. I don't really mind honestly since the season has been a downer and I don't see our luck changing at the WC of all races.
So, with season about to close soon, how are the chances of new teams joining in?

A great third week from Nerz, climbing from 12th to 8th in the GC. A decent Vuelta for our team, although we did not get many great results on the stages.
A good performance from Herr Klotz in l'Avenir, but not finishing on the podium is a bit of a bummer. He still has plenty of years left to win races.
After a great performance last season in the Sprint Challenge, Degenstache is once again strong here. A great 2nd place, with another German first. Beating the faster sprinters, obviously they suck at the tactics part of this race.
The WC course doesn't really matter to me, would be cool to have Richmond though, staying a bit true to real life. |

phew, not me 5th lowest but honestly I quite fits the bill. the dropoff behind Valverde, Majka, Kiserlovski, Sanchez is huuuuge

Kinda love the rider's cobbled ITT idea, but I'm very biased.

Does anyone know if anyone has joined here, this year, with more than 10/20 posts? Doesn't seem like it to me.
If you win ....
Spoiler
expect a reverse steal!

I would have loved to post something other than complaining, but my team just f***ed it up time after time... |

I wasn't talking about the ICL! I was wondering if anyone has joined PCM.Daily in 2015 with more than 10/20 posts on their account. |

Nice new Prorace jersey, posted in the team thread the rider.
On the WC discussion: I think it's okay to not have a similar route like last year, when it was hilly with a flat sprint finish. I also think Gilbert should have a chance though to defend the jersey..
Maybe a Belgian WC would be a good idea as reward for the Belgian win last year?
Whatever, please post some worlds suggestions and then I'll put them in a vote. |

Well Gilbert can actually cobble. IMO a slightly hilly, non cobbles heavy route, would allow him to defend his title
Like the idea of a Belgian WC btw

With Slagter and Mollema, I would of course vote for the Valkenburg route. Also suits Gilbert.
If we want a Belgian one, how about the old Ronde Van Vlaanderen route (with Muur and Bosberg)? Gilbert should be ok there as well.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

So we need to suggest again?
As many cobbles as possible please.

No I actually want you to post routes that can be used, not what type of world you want.
Was badly worded I know.^^ |
