Wow, playing catch up after struggling a lot to navigate the site over the last few days. That Kudus stage was ... something. Incredible that he was allowed such a gap.
Not a big race for us, so far. Vingegaard with a good presence on the Kudus day, but not strong enough to really gain from it. Otherwise fairly quiet, but good to see that we are getting in more and more of the breaks.

Yeah, great. See you in Paris, won't comment on my team's shitshow anymore.

The same setup worked so well in Qatar, but here everything seems to be off. Both the train and Grosu. The green jersey will remain a dream it seems, but hopefully we'll still get lucky and snatch another stage win.

WOW

We finally take action and it's the best action of all for a marvellous 1-2!! Slightly amusing that it's Hesters instead of Jakobsen taking the victory but glad to see we're rewarded for the team efforts we've put in through the first half of this race so far.
Hopefully a sign of things to come for us!

Peak featuring in the sprint again, good! Congratulations on the 1-2, LLS! Perfectly executed by your boys, especially how Hesters got the jump on the rest of the sprinters.
Thank you again for the report, UU, and the lovely consistency they come with! A morning highlight |

Great result for our latino frenemies! Congratulations LLS.
Agree with ember on the consistency of the reports and when I see them on the forum I think of them of a morning highlight as well. Only thing that would be fun now is to see the actual content of the report concerning my team is also a highlight every now and then Looking at you there, 15th place Marin.

The one day Walls is in good position he goes to early and still ends up with nothing. My plan to have him replace AKA is either in shambles or already completely accurate if you consider AKA's recent GT performances.
Thanks for the continued great reports!

I'm kinda curious whether the hills for the tt will have a big enough impact to allow the Lecuisinier/Haig type of riders to compete with the proper tt riders. I'm still pretty clueless in reading tt profiles after all those years

Couldn't expect anything good out of a TT with Carthy, but we're still in a pretty similar position GC wise to beforehand, so that's fine with me.

AHJ keeping white after the TT was obvious pre-stage, but still happy he did. A two minutes gap before the mountains should see him as the big favourite for the jersey, but it will only take one breakaway effort from another contender to turn it around, I feel. Still, a great position to be in, and the small points keep coming with him in the jersey
Ganna doing the double on the TT bike was very much expected before this one. PHL still with a great effort to grab 2nd on the stage and be that close. Congratulations on another stage win, jandal! |

A solid performance in the TT. Now we've got a lot of work ahead of us to keep hold of 4th place in GC and maybe try to attack the podium.

Oh damn, so close, seems like we are really not having too much luck this season...
Congrats jandal, seems like sending Ganna here really was a great decision for you!

Still in the battle for sixth is quite decent, with no more tt'ing to come now. Just need to hope the breakaways are in our favour. So far we haven't joined any in this TDF, so hopefully Aular (and/or Lopez Nolasco) decide to join the right one(s). Speaking about, Lopez Nolasco in the top-15 after the first half is great to see. Would be amazing if he could keep that up.
Congratulations jandal! Thanks for a great TT report, Ulrich

If anyone had told me, the only positive from this race is Salas doing decent in the TTs while Cras losing lots of minutes on flat stages and still thinking he could perform like a GC rider in the mountains...
Offside all the other weirdness, the own team doing just as bad.
Thanks for the reports though. They are a nice read and I can only imagine how hard it is to report. |

To date our best results have been the TT stages. A podium for Hayter is pretty good, not quite the surprise Oliveira win from a few years ago but probably the max he could've got. Otherwise, there's not been too much for us to go on except for the breaks and KOM hunting. Elissonde is well placed so far but it's not guaranteed by any means since Kudus took all the points going a few days back o.O
Evonik have quite the job to do to win this race which will be interesting to see how things go - Will Kudus pay for his efforts late on or is his gap enough?

Been incredible to watch the race so far, so many thanks UU!
Fascinating GC battle that I still think will close over the final 10 stages, who knows by how much, but I think there still could be some battle here.

Looked a pretty solid ride from Shikai to move himself up to 6th in the GC. Hopefully he can consolidate around that 5th-8th position now!

Really nice TT from PHL. Kudus not so great. The next two stages will be really interesting when it comes to my team's ability to control the race. I expect a huge breakaway win.
Congrats jandal.

That looked like a perfect stage for us. Pogi gaining some valuable time on Haig and moving into 3rd overall, seemingly with some clever riding and hopefully not much energy spent. But I'll guess we'll see if that's the case tomorrow.
