This race obviously was great for my team. While I'm disappointed about Van Stayen in the sprints his climbing was superb. I expected sth like a 14th place in GC from him but he easily outperformed that with even a day in yellow.

The double header should help me a lot in the ranking fights but a lot of the advantage I gained from it will be removed with the Vuelta a Colombia which is nothing more than a XP gaining race for me.

Olsson <3 Great to see him hanging on the KoM. Really enjoyed seeing an offensive display from the team here. Rowe steady in the sprints, but just seems like the level was a bit too much for the top positions.

Well, this kind of makes up for the Olympic Road Race failure, Thanks Tamijo for reporting this stage race!

Trofimov will have a rest period of 6 weeks now, then Copenhagen TTT to get in shape for the end of the season (Tasmania, Lombardia and World Championships).
