TVG needs to give up not only on this race, or his career, but possibly his entire life.
From what Steve Perino said on American coverage BMC may have told him if he doesn't really have it to just sit up and try to get a stage later on in the race or help Porte.
That's no excuse though. You can't build your entire year around a race and just not show up. Pathetic.
