Finally someone, who does what he does best here. Delgerbayar on podium in a stage is nice to see, just what i was hoping for. Congrats to Cisco, some nice days they have

Perfect lead-out and sprint!
Now time for Jurgen to make it his third. Three stage wins should be achievable given the parcours pre-race

Very boss-like sprint from Roelandts, waiting for Guarnieri to deplete his energy and than strike. Congrats to Bouygues once again, February is going great for them so far!

I'm pretty sure Langkawi is a March race not a February one, or at least I've got it down as one in my Team HQ.

It is even in March, more particularly from 3 to 12

The Good: Peraud finished 12th thanks to a nice hilly stage.
The Bad: Peraud finished outside Top-10.
The Ugly: Peraud failed too hard in the mountain-stage..

Roelands is simply undstoppable, so gotta be pleased with a second for Lo Cicero here. Espescially after what he have done the last stages. This is a good lesson for next season though, to not bring supreme sprinters to a race without support.
Thank you for guiding us trough Tour de Langkawi Smowz. You've done very well, and todays nervewrecking sprint finale didn't disappoint. Keep up the good work!

First of all, thanks for some good reports Smowz - Bjartne says it best
There are a lot of positives to take out of this race. First and foremost is of course Castaños great response to a frustrating race in Tachira, but I had never expected him to win here.
Next thing is Bazajevs great performances, he really did well to be second in the point jersey competition and I hope he can shine even more against weaker rivals.
We are already a lot more successful at this point than the whole last season in terms of race victories, I hope we'll continue to win and gain some valuable points

I'm so glad there wasn't a crash on this stage as they seem to have marred a lot of final stages we've been involved in.
Well done smowz on the great reports, they've really made it more tense.
That ended up being a really good race for us taking 6th on GC, 2nd in the young riders, a stage win and the teams classification. Our sponsors Petronas will be over the moon seeing as this is a home race for them.

Shame Guarnieri didn't follow Richeze there and keep the gap to a minimum - may have won.
Well reported race, Smowz. Thanks for putting the reports up so quickly too. |

Great race to follow! Congrats smowz on the reports!
Good race for Bouygues and ING, congrats aswell.
Lo Cicero and Ratiy probably the biggest dissapointments.

Rankings update after the opening few March races, and we see that ING and Bougyes Telecom have moved into the Promotion spots for the first time this season. Vespa and Tinkoff also are climbing upwards, while Armavia slip into the relegation zone after Iglinski lifts Lukoil out of it.
Kappa are the new CT leaders with another Mehr-Wenige race helping Adira to climb upwards.

Pozzovivo closes the gap to Hoffman at the top, with Mehr-Wenige flying the CT flag and up to 3rd. Taaramae is back in the Individual rankings Top 10, so often his long term home during his ManGame career.

At 2 points per race day the Langkawi Tour was a waste of time for us. Learned my lesson for next season . (Also my team just isn't good enough to be involved all season long)
Check out my ManGame team here

Thnaks for great and fast reporting Smowz, i was not part of the tour, but this was one also for spectators, with nice mountain battle, interesting hilly stage and dramatic sprint finishes. Congrats to ING and Bouygues, they both jumped us in the raankings, but that was going to happen soon.
Thanks for update SN!
100 points for Metinvest in two races (7 race days) is not great, but still nice to maintain top5 and distance some teams we expect to battle for staying in the division later in the season.
Good to see that when Popovych is not on the top of his racing, we have likes of Popkov and Vitoria to bring us points.
Now hopefully some sprint points with individual rankings leader Hoffman from Sochi Tour (with Popkov for overall top10) + Corsica with Popo.

If I can stay within about 150 points of the promotion zone when the cobbles start I will be really pleased. Really happy with the Algarve points total too.
Interesting to see piv lasko so high having missed a lot of the transfer season.
