We have official relegated to the CT Division in the Daily Man-Game.
Our fatal crumble in the last two months of the season will be documented
and reviewed in the upcoming weeks while our riders will be gathering their
belongings and head out on vacation, many of them likely not to return.

PrivatBank is rumoured to make a serious bid on one of CSC's leaders, who happens to live in one of PrivatBanks prefered regions.
Also a certain sprinter is rumoured to stay in Ukraine after a rather bad season.

Huge shame but with Costa and Barrio I'm sure you'll bounce back. I'd like to declare our interest in Anton - dependent on finances |

September Summary
The hills were to steep and Barrio gets dropped 25kms from the finish.
Ultimately coming to line to take 31st and no ranking points.
Spoiler 31 Sergio Barrio
32 Teodorico Usandizaga
51 Marcos Altur
Last year Igor Anton took 2nd behind Robert Kiserlovski. This year...
he takes 3rd behind Andrei Kashechkin and Kiserlovski who just dominated.
The major highlight came on stage 20 when Oliver Kaisen picked up his
only stage win of the season in our only stage win for this tour.
Spoiler Stage 1: 10 Eloy Teruel
Stage 2: 7 Eloy Teruel
Stage 3: 10 Eloy Teruel
Stage 4: 20 Team CSC-Orbea
Stage 5: 30 Eloy Teruel
Stage 6: 7 Igor Anton
Stage 7: 5 Igor Anton
Stage 8: 4 Igor Anton
Stage 9: 8 Igor Anton (GC - 10 Igor Anton)
Stage 10: 7 Igor Anton (GC - 4 Igor Anton)
Stage 11: 5 Constantino Zaballa [BOTD - C. Zaballa] (GC - 5 Igor Anton)
Stage 12: 9 Igor Anton (GC - 5 Igor Anton)
Stage 13: 11 Igor Anton (GC - 6 Igor Anton)
Stage 14: 38 Eloy Teruel (GC - 6 Igor Anton)
Stage 15: 16 Eloy Teruel [BOTD - C. Zaballa] (GC - 6 Igor Anton)
Stage 16: 2 Igor Anton [BOTD - Olivier Kaisen] (GC - 3 Igor Anton)

Stage 18: 2 Igor Anton (GC - 3 Igor Anton)
Stage 19: 5 Igor Anton (GC - 3 Igor Anton)
Stage 20: 1 Olivier Kaisen (GC - 3 Igor Anton)
Stage 21: 44 Igor Anton (GC - 3 Igor Anton)
Nothing to report here. A no-show from Sergio Barrio and Koldo Gil.
Spoiler 49 Koldo Gil
53 Sergio Barrio
64 Rafael Silva
Basically another no-show from Barrio in a C2 race... he gets 17th.
This sums up our season right here. Invisible and disappointing.
Spoiler 17 Sergio Barrio
40 Teodorico Usandizaga
41 Marcos Altur
New month, same problem. Barrio wasn't ready to lead in C1 races.
Spoiler 22 Sergio Barrio
33 Koldo Gil
114 Rafael Silva
Who would have thought it would be our sprinter Eloy Teruel to try and save us from relegation? Having been absent all season Teruel steals the win in stage 1.
But from there everything was downhill. Costa and Barrio lost all their chemistry they had earlier in the season and finish outside the top 30 in GC.
Spoiler Stage 1: 1 Eloy Teruel (GC - 1 Eloy Teruel)
Stage 2: 52 Rui Costa
Stage 3: 23 Rui Costa
Stage 4: 10 Rui Costa
Stage 5: 16 Rui Costa [BOTD - Jesus Merino Criado]
Our last chance to save ourselves from the scary CT division. We just needed 30 points over Team UPC to gain safety. That didn't happen.
Another no-show from Costa and Barrio sealing our fate.
Spoiler 48 Rui Costa
64 Sergio Barrio
82 Koldo Gil

We are very interested in Abal and also in Barrio you might give us a call when the transfer season starts and I think we could get a deal done.

I dumped 1M for Barrio last season so you need to at least beat that for me to even consider moving him. And with a CT budget I don't know if I'll be able to hold Abal to sell him. My goal right now is to flip Anton or Abal depending on who is interested in buying.

Colorado and Bustamante are currently very boarderline here at B3B and we are not against them returning back to CSC.
We are also interested in Altur still and would look to transfer him across (after the loan deal fell through last season)

Well we are much more interested in Abal than in Barrio as I guess he (Barrio) might be one of the centre pieces for you to bounce back to the PCT.

Depending on wage VolksWagen-Mapei might be interested in Anton/Abal, also depending on other targets

@TheManxMissile: We are very keen and interested in bring the two Colombians back. However, Altur probably isn't moving. Not sealing because we want to brag that we have the best Spanish cobbler ever in a few years and a loan isn't out of the question but at 68HL he is still useful now even if we don't race the cobbles yet. We'll be in contact.
@Rin: I figured and yes Barrio will be our main weapon next season.
@Heine: Good to know.

I don't know considering how bad Anton season was last year his wage could be very nice this year for CT |

I don't think he will have enough race days to make as a big as an impact as Barrio should. Plus, we can't forget about Costa. I want to keep him too. Agh, so many decisions. I don't like it.

No offense but I wouldn't let Anton go to another team in the CT Division so he could end up racing against me. Sorry, just wouldn't make sense from my perspective and you probably wouldn't have the funds to do it anyways.

Guess someone goes tonight!
In general, it's better that way. Feels wrong to promote a team like Risa, which lacks activity. So "welcome back" and let's both improve next year

Absolutely.
And if I don't improve I might be the worst "active" MG Manager ever.
