Once again, where was Greipel? I find it hard to believe that Farrar would place higher than him after crashing unless Greipel flatted.
Greipel was 11th. He unfortunately was on the left side of the road and boxed as the breakaway was in front of him and all the other sprinters on the right side. He didn`t even sprint that much then. |

Didn't he say something like "I'm too tired to sprint today" before the stage?
Plus I think he got blocked in the finale when they caught the escapees.

are you serious with that sprint!???? what was he about 8 riders behind? Granted break was probably pretty spent from the run in but still!
Sagan still has to develop but I don't see him ever becoming like Cavendish he needs the uphill finish. Great finish today.
He will never become like Cavendish, this season he is probably the fastest he will ever be

Sagan would at best finish in the wheel of Cavendish. No way he'd come even close to beat Cavendish on this finish |

Lol at LLS Sees Cav flying past him, sits up, does hand gesture just awaiting 15 other sprinters to pass him, then looks back at the gap Cav had and the fact that the sprinters were not that close to him and gets back sprinting Could have made a podium if he hadn't stopped.

Sanchez must be pissed at Wiggins - second time he bridges the gap.
Wonderful finish. I love these kind of stages were a lot of differents riders have the possibility of winning, |

I just saw the video of Gilbert after the crash. He walks over to the dog owner and shouts at him then nearly gets run over by a Katusha car

Got no reason to be pissed about either occasion. Nothing wrong with Wiggins leading out a teammate - its not like Wiggins has an Armstrong-style vendetta against Sanchez.

Yes, you are correct and i have to admit he totally deserves to be in green
But if Cave wasn't Wiggins-sitting for most of the race i don't think Sagan would be so good, imo |

I just have to post this here. No space whatsoever for the Green jersey to go (that's actually only the 2nd picture posted on cyclingnews, better ones will come eventually )

It looks like we could have British riders winning 7 of 21 stages and 1-2 on GC if all goes as expected. Who'd have thought that ten years ago, maybe even five years ago? |
