Looks challenging, more than the 2009 version that the man-game used.
It's a long time ago since I played the game, but this would be quite interesting to race - the time trial looks great.

PCM10 does exaggerate the profiles of some stages a little, but yes, its a good race to play.
The Fuji stage is actually a road race this year though - the Tour of Japan organisers changed it from a time trial for the 2010 edition.

Tour of Japan 2010
A short prologue opens the race of circuits, before an opening hilly tester and opportunity for the sprinters. Stages 4 and 5 are the key stages. The climb by Mihai Tamehide's House on the Minamu-Shinshu circuit certainly takes its toll after many repeated ascents - before the queen stage at Mount Fuji - a road race rather than a time trial in 2010. Then theres one more hill stage in a twisting circuit at the Japanese Keirin School, before a closing flat criterium in Tokyo.

Thanks. Some may not like the steepness of Fuji, but theres really not much I can do about that. The roads are all correct, and theres plenty of hairpins involved.
And now from Asia, to Africa.
Nedbank Cycling Classic (NE)
As far as I can gather, its one of, if not the, biggest race in Namibia. Starting on Independence Avenue in Windhoek, and ending in a suburb of the Capital, Olympia, inbetween the race heads west to the Daan Viljoen hills - and they are pretty steep at times!
Ive made 2 versions. The realistic version at just over 75km, and then a harder version that is likely to mean more interesting gameplay in PCM - as the section in the hills is done 4 times, rather than once.
And coincidentally, this race is taking place today.

Route announced earlier today, so:
London 2012 Olympics Time Trial
The men's race will initially run south after departing from Henry VIII's former residence into Elmbridge.
The riders will then take in a loop around the Knights and Bessborough Reservoirs, before heading south towards Esher Green. The course then runs towards Hersham and Cobham, in what the organisers describe as the "hillier section" of the race.
Riders will soon head north again, passing through Esher once more, before entering Kingston-upon-Thames and Kingston town centre. Upon continuing through Richmond, Teddington Vale and Strawberry Vale, the course turns south through Bushy Park before finishing on Hampton Court Way.

It`s in the classification xml files in the mainfolder/classification. Easy to edit with notepad.
There are all sprint/kom points defined as also the money for stages and overall races. |

If you open it with Notepad, look for something like finish_timetrial or finish_itt. Look for "time_gap" or similiar and delete the bonus or set it to 0. |

Just checked it. It`s a different problem. The classification is already correct. No time bonuses for time trials. But SN defined his finish as classic instead of time trial.
So there are two options:
1) SN changes his stage to time trial.
2) You delete the time bonuses under finish_classic. But then all finish_classics that use cont_21 won`t have bonuses. So you might copy the classification before and rename it different and edit the STA_race to use the new one. Then you jsut have to hope that there is no other classic finish in this race. But at least it won`t influence other races then. |
