It`s not yet 100 % possible to guarantee that time line but I will try to give you an close idea of what I am going to try.
Friday | 25th September | | Post Renewal DB incl. New Rider Additions, Stat Gain, Information thread | Saturday | 26th September | | PTHC Band starting deadline & HC Bands |
The key dates for the 2020 transfers (at least planning it like this). All times are in BST (British time).
Transfer DB and Rules are posted asap beforehand.
Thursday | 1st October | End | Final deadline for goals, HC [PCT] and PTHC [PT/PCT] choices | Friday | 2nd October | 20:00 BST | Transfer Window Opens | Sunday | 4th October | 20:00 BST | Deals can now be confirmed for trades or loans | Sunday | 4th October | 20:00 BST | The theoretical time that the first free agent signings will be sealed | Monday | 5th October | 20:00 BST | The theoretical time that the first deals will be sealed | Thursday | 8th October | 12:00 BST | Stagiares can now be bidded on | Friday | 9th October | End | Deadline for submitting C1/C2 choices [PCT/CT] | Saturday | 10th October | 12:00 BST | This is the deadline for sacking a rider | Monday | 12th October | 12:00 BST | Deadline for sending a priority list for additional 2 FAs for CT teams | Monday | 12th October | 12:00 BST | Transfer Window Closes |
Unresolved free agent bids will go to a silent auction
Deadline for Transfer Sheets (unless in silent auction)
Noting that for the first few days.
Friday | 2nd October | 20:00 BST | Start of first bid limit window | Saturday | 3rd October | 00:00 BST | Start of second bid limit window | Sunday | 4th October | 00:00 BST | Start of third bid limit window | etc |
If you will be unable to use the site for a portion of the above dates, please inform myself and the ManGame-Admin account may be able to perform transfer actions for you, if you provide sufficient instructions.
Timings will be adjusted should the forum experience any downtime during this period.
And last but not least again. No guarantee it really starts next Friday but if so, then it will be as close as possible afterwards with the same kind of time periods in between. This also means, it`s not necessarily moved a full week further behind to the next Friday, but might also start in between. |

I'm working on goals, but where is the band info please? I can't seem to find the posts.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Awesome. I'll barely avoid a big mess since I'm moving this weekend and not next weekend. I'll be ready for the madness.

The needed info is already in the calendar file. So the "presentation" of bands is optional more or less anyway usually. But already worked on and might come today/tomorrow. So just in time. |

Does this mean that the "time window without any bid" will be increased to 60h for free agents?

I'll get it out today, sometime in the evening

Lovely friday evening start. No need to take a day off
Still think we should increase the length of the transfer window. Those can easily be recouped by giving a (stricter) deadline for the planning. It might only influence a few cases each year but i still think we should do this. Longer explanation is somewhere in the suggestions thread.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Great, GF not here over the weekend, and I can do a 24h session to finally scout riders and decide on #bands.
Love the pace. Thanks roturn!

Fantastic timeline, it finishes 3 days before I set of for 2 weeks of voluntary work with basically no breaks. Hopefully we can keep the timeline.

Agreed. As I said last year, I think making it a few days longer allows people to be more bold and not shut down operations so early in the window from the fear they won't be able to use assets from sales.
Should be great anyway. Have a big exam that Saturday so I'll be prepping my transfer posts well ahead of time!

I was thinking this was odd... Free Agents confirmed should be Sunday 20:00 the same time Deals can be Posted
6. The winner of the free agent will be the highest bidder after a 48 hour period with no bids.
Friday 20:00 -> Sunday 20:00

Probably a copy-paste error from last year as the deadline was extended by 12 hours due to forum downtime

Sure, that must be the thing.
Furthermore, the deal confirmation window initially opened 12h earlier, i.e. 36h after the opening of the transfer window. With the same 36h, that would be Sunday 08:00 BST. Will these times be adjusted?

Will check tomorrow.
48h for FAs in general. First time 60h I thought about giving everyone a chance to join transfers, even when having less time. But will consider this further more. |

At which point are we allowed to post a list of riders available for transfer?
(Not that anyone doubts Waeytens will be on the list)
