Macskako Kerekparverseny
The PCT cobblers have been hibernating for the past couple of months, but they're back in action to face a tricky course here in Hungary. Reigning champion Jerome Baugnies is here to defend his title, but he'll face a tough challenge, with Summerhill and Vanspeybrouck also in attendance. The hills on the course will also be a welcome sight for riders like Breen, Sinkeldam and Debesay, who will hope to use their abilities as puncheurs to make up for what they lack as cobblers.

Vanbilsen's 50MO is going to kill him here, but he's been good the rest of the season so all is forgiven.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Oh God, we really need a huge points load here. I'm not optimistic, but VSB has been our rock this year, and this is I believe his second to last cobbles race. So we need to take advantage, even if our chances of avoiding relegation are tiny now.
Really hoping VSB's climbing ability, along with Sinkledam's, will help him. Only Summerhill should be better on paper. But as I said, I'm not holding my breath.

Nice to see Breen back in action. Should be a good course both for him and van der Haar.

Not the best course for our cobblers. I think Shiki might actually be our best bet here.

I thought I had this as a Win Goal but checked it up and I have Malopolski Wyzcig and Kuurne - Bruxelles - Kuurne as win goals, and I just realised we achieved both of them....
Looking for a podium here even if we dont have a goal here |

Our straight cobbled results have been pretty dire, would love to see that not continue on a fairly well suited profile for Debesay

A strange race to process for us. Davison in the break was good, Rowe trying to bridge to the break was good, Rowe on a not great day and then falling back outside the points wasn't, Debesay a bit below par not good but Bester in 14th makes up for it a bit. Not a great day but not a bad one either Thanks for the report jph, you're a machine
Congrats YJ, it's a little bit boring but I'm sure you don't mind

Well, Vanbilsen was even worse than expected, but Joseph is really doing it in his last season for us. I truely am going to miss that guy.
Thanks for the report!

Again, good subtop results but missing that big result in the cobbles campaign. Shame Flaksis/Marcos couldn't hang on longer for extra points. Thanks for the report jph and congrats YJ!

So close, yet so far. Vanspeybrouck really did everything he could to get Summerhill out of the picture. Summerhill is the stronger rider and prevailed, as expected. I'm glad VSB attacked, even if it might have cost him in the end. You have to go big in situations like these.
Still, I'd consider this race a big success for us. 2nd with VSB is right in line with what he should be, and we really needed some points. He put in a very strong ride and gets some rewards. Sinkeldam in 10th is really nice too, as we've failed to get that depth scoring in the past, and we need it now.
The resurgence of Frederik Nolf continues as well, making me wonder what he hated so much about my team.
Congrats YJ and thanks to jph for the report!

Congrats to Yellow Jersey and thanks jph for the race. At this point I'm really wondering if I should invest in training Bohli in favor of Spengler this offseason. They really aren't too far off in terms of results this year, and Bohli has much better backup stats.

Can't say Im upset, but obviously was hoping for a bit of an upset if Kuroeda could get into the Top 10. 17 is still a points finish though, so gotta take the positives.

Just here to point out how ridiculously bad Nils Schomber is.
