Less than 24 hours to the start so it's right about time to begin with this 
EDIT: I thought it was saturday already 
Maybe the biggest topic around was the fact of the severe mud in some sectors, particularly Haveluy (right before the Forest of Arenberg), there's been the effort to clean the cobbled roads.

Question ? with 221 km left, will there be a breakaway (min 3 min) - or will the peloton hold things to the first cob-section ?
My answer: I still think there will be someone getting 3 min+

Jørgen Leth (Danish expert and filmmaker) just comnented that he prefer a dry race, because wet cobble just slows down the pace, actually making the race less hard.
Think that is an interesting perspective.

Least risky way to get familiar with the cobbles is definitely by riding them inside the breakaway.
