Less than 24 hours to the start so it's right about time to begin with this
EDIT: I thought it was saturday already
Maybe the biggest topic around was the fact of the severe mud in some sectors, particularly Haveluy (right before the Forest of Arenberg), there's been the effort to clean the cobbled roads.

Degenkolb better win this one, but I'm going for a surprise name: Geraint Thomas.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

I think Sky has a good team and my vote goes for Moscon although I would love to see Gilbert winning it. |

No chance for Moscon. Can't really see anyone but a QSI rider winning |

Question ? with 221 km left, will there be a breakaway (min 3 min) - or will the peloton hold things to the first cob-section ?
My answer: I still think there will be someone getting 3 min+

Cobblestones + Wind + Mud + maybe Rain = perfect combination for a hell race.
Finishing such a race is already a small victory |

Jørgen Leth (Danish expert and filmmaker) just comnented that he prefer a dry race, because wet cobble just slows down the pace, actually making the race less hard.
Think that is an interesting perspective.

Some of the best editions were in the sun. The dustwaves are just epic.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Dry, dusty Roubaix is better than muddy crashfest |

Least risky way to get familiar with the cobbles is definitely by riding them inside the breakaway.

Marc Soler just said to his team car "Hoy me lo voy a pasar bomba", which can be translated to "I'm going to have a lot of fun today"
