This is the thread to basically discuss the posts in the news thread: results, rankings, previews, etc. or for general chat about the in-game game, rather than about tasks, etc. Open now for talk about the calendar for January and the rider preview that will be posted soon
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

I hope that that rider preview can give a bit of a picture to you all of the main faces of the peloton this year and help a bit with your planning, etc. Also good for me to write about all the top riders at the same time

Awesome preview! I can't wait for the season to start. Favourite other teams already are The Iten Project and La Pitagora. They drew up very interesting ideas. Also very much like Ubisoft, title contenders #1 from the reads. Oh, and a big rival of course in Rafael Lopez. Our rivals stand of course at first line: Krka Slovenija.

So we've started! I'll play around with the reporting style for a bit and the length will vary too. Hope you enjoy.
City of Shaolin missed the deadline. Kinda sucks but that's how it goes. I'd like everyone to be pretty honest and not intentionally miss races where they don't want to be (that isn't what happened here as it's clearly a race where they've missed points potential, but just saying as it occurred to me). Thanks for an otherwise good turnout!

A decent start I'd say for myself in our home race, congrats to Evan for the first win in the fight for the throne. |

Congratulations as well! We did a fantastic job to draw the race we wanted here. Sadly Yeray couldn't execute it to the last, still at the end there is a very nice haul of points for us from here.

Congrats Somfy!
I would disagree that it was disappointing to see our two riders getting dropped early into the climb, as I didn't expect either of them to really feature today anyway. 9th for a cobbler is an amazing result to start the season.
Too bad we didn't get to see where Weber finished, but it was a very promising ride from a rider I hope to develop nicely throughout the seasons. It's time for a great German stage racer again.
We surely take the 25 points from this, as our January lineups certainly don't consist of any race favorites. Siegel wants to train some more before starting his season in New Zealand and avoid burning out early, and we don't have a good sprinter (yet).

Grats Somfy and thanks for the awesome report Jandal!
No leaders for us so no expectations, so not too much to comment on for our squad, good job following your tactics, but job with the break.

Can't complain with 4th and 10th. Probably a bit too long that climb for Lopez. Congrats Somfy
And thanks for getting us going Jandal

Didn't expect Sanchez to be so good in this race, but a 5th place is an awesome result

EEH Berger with the win
The race went on perfectly and thankfully he had enough in the tank to have a strong sprint in the end. It's great to start the season with a bang and also Awesome to win the first ever Carbon Throne race.
Thanks everybody and Jandal of course! FWI loving the report format.

No, too much work for me. I'll mention where important guys finished in stage race stages/provisional GC if they lost time but otherwise I'll just do points scoring places and provisional GC

Just catching up on Willunga, had hoped the early season start would allow a minor result for an in-form domestique. Nope My team design means there'll be a number of pointless races for the team throughout the season then!

South Africa Stage 1 up. Feel free to adapt tactics during stage races, if I get them in time I'll take them into account. Stage 2+3 will likely get posted together but I'll definitely leave a gap to react before the three big GC days.
Another thing: Prize money is added to budget at the end of every month.

Great to see van Alst already getting into the morning breaks, exactly what I expect him to excel at throughout his development.
Sadly there wasn't much to gain without KoM points in this stage, but at least we showed our jersey and sponsors.
We expectedly weren't a factor in the final, with only Winkler packing some kind of sprint but too young to feature in such a stage. Our hopes lie in more breakaways and especially the TT for Heintze.

top 10 is where Martin's level is, so par for the course.

Not bad or good, just not being able to catch up to the front group isn't ideal. At least Damien was pretty good at the end, but hey, there will be more chances. |

Pity Bordui couldn't get a podium for Cartamundi after he made the race, but better than we could have hoped for in a bunch sprint. Congrats to Krka. |
