Race planners are going to start being added to PCT and CT team dropbox folders soon.
This will look something like this:
To fill in a rider's schedule, put a 1 in the column for each race you want them to ride. It should look something like this:
Note: That is neither the actual Eritel race calendar, or my race lineups for those races (if I'm even in them)
Column EI and Cells A/D3 will warn you if you have sent a rider to more races than they have race days for. This updates automatically.
Column EO and Cells A/D2 will warn you if a rider is being sent to more than one race at the same time. This only updates when you click the 'Check Race Clashes' button. Once you have clicked that button, wait until a Text Box prompt appears telling you that the check has been completed. You can also check which races clash in the Calendar excel file, or in the Race Profiles forum.
Rows 36 and 37 show how many riders you have sent to a race. The team size is 8 for every race except some of the TT classics. Remember that you must send at least 6 riders to each races.
PCT teams should remember the limits on rider strength for lineups they send to C2 races.
If you are unable to open the .xlsm file, post here and I'll see if an alternative file can be made available.
Any other questions, ask them here too.
The completed file should be saved in the shared Dropbox folder, and you should then PM ManGame-Admin to say it has been completed.
It would be great if all of these files could be submitted by next weekend. Of course, the sooner they are in, the sooner the team previews can start, and then the season itself.
And for those wondering, a post-transfers DB will be out soon too, once all transfer sheets have been checked and approved, and training implemented.

Just tested: This time the xlsm-file is working as good (using open office) as the xls you made for me the seasons prior (everything works fine, except race clashes).
One thing I don't know if it is an issue at all: I can only save my race plan as .ods-file. Guess it's okay, right?

If you can save it as an .ods and let me see, then can tell you if it is okay!

I also had done this a few days ago but was horrified to find I had missed a race clash
Panic replanning started
I have fixed the issue <phew>, just trying a bit of tuning now.

Remind me: what's the PCT limit for C2 races regarding riders? |

Can't open without losing all the useful controls.
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Race Eligiblity
PCT teams in C2 races:
- Rider OVL is less than 72 (72.00 is too high)
- Mo/Hl/TT/Cb/Sp stat is no higher than 77
Note: Level 1, 2 and 3 riders may ride C2 if they have an AVG above 72 - but not if their best stat is higher than 77.

I won't be able to save an .xlsm file - perils of using a Chromebook
However last season making it a .xls file when saving worked out fine, if that is possible again |

I am open to teams submitting a change to their C1/C2 choices still.

Thanks, but actually fully looking into it, it is still almost impossible to get my lvl 1s to lvl 2.80 (before Avenir) without taking all C2 races over C1, and at that point I'd probably run out of eligible riders and such so I'll keep things as they are now I think.
But I forget, if a rider lvls from 1->2 midseason his xp still goes up as if he was lvl 1 and not lvl 2 from that point, correct? (Perhaps this question could be moved to here in case anyone else is wondering)
Because if I am wrong that does change things definitely.

I'm pretty sure the experience points would apply as a level 2 rider and not level 1.

I kind of thought it was like that in the past, but I also thought I remembered it in the rules before, and now I dont see it, so I assumed it was removed, as there was mention of some changes and that you should read carefully.
Edit: If thats the case tho, I will definitely be sending in a new C1/C2 selection

The paragraph beliw the table covers points that you dont seem to get, including that Avenir xp is added first.
To illustrate the process:
If a 1.0 rider has Avenir, 45 C2 RD and 15 C1 RD then:
Avenir: 1.0 to 1.20
27 C2 RD at 3 xp: 1.20 to 2.01
18 C2 RD at 1.5 xp: 2.01 to 2.28
15 C1 RD at 2 xp: 2.28 to 2.58
You midseason comment suggests you think xp is added in chronological race order, but this has never been the case.
