No "Other"? No Darrigarde? Boo!!!
Of those i side with Cavendish or Zabel.
Van Looy, Maertens and Kelly weren't pure enough for my liking to really count.

No Djamolodin Abdoujaparov or Jean-Paul Van Poppel?
But I'd still vote Cipollini anyway. |

I think Merckx should be there, he won half the sprints anyway. or Guimard. I'll vote for Darrigade anyway.

Not an easy choice here.
I'm gonna go with a controversial call to say Maertens. He could've done so much more with a right mindset but I remember those WC titles and especially a few TDF victories and that Vuelta with 13 stages.
If he was on the right mind (which happened too few times, unfortunately), he was the fastest man alive. I believe |

Tough to judge sprinters: do we judge them as mass sprinters or also their other victories.
Maertens, Van Looy, Kelly, Freire were so much more than sprinters

Dunno why I find that so funny
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."
