In what is arguably the hardest C2 race on the calendar, 4 mountain stages and two tricky flat ones lie ahead of us. Arroyo is without a doubt the favourite, although Die Berg Komp have not provided much in the way of support. Challenging him is Marzano, who has Kisverlovski in support. After the big two, Menchov (Barca) Ndibri (Air Kenya) and Moreno (Iberia) are expected to put up the biggest challenge.
For the sprints Dall'Antonia, Duque and Lequarte are expected to be the quickest, however they will ahve to survive some serious hills to do so.

We have everything to top 10 or even top 5 this. And 2 flat stages with Mora proving as lead-out men should help us at least top 3 both. Let's do this. |

Moreno's time to shine. He could win the sprint on the first or second stage so I hope he enters the first MTF with some bonus advantage.
Top 5 + stage win is the goal. We have dissapointed so far in stage races but Algeria so time to turn the luck around

Need some great results here to start a final promotion push. Really hoping for some success from either Martinez or Ndbri. |

Back in the saddle!
Hopping to turn around this horrible season. Menchov must deliver and finish on the top 3. Also, let's see if Lequatre can take a win on the flat stages...

This looks like the one hell of a race, should be great also for us spectators.
Hard to look past Arroyo, but Kappa will be strong as always and can serve us all a surprise.

I have waited for this race for some time.
Marzano should be able to compete for the win. Being on home ground and everything.
There isn't to much competition behind Marzano, so this should be a two horse race. |

I'm sure Arroyo will find a way to stuff it up. So my money is on Marzano. I'm really surprised not to see more teams turn up here.

A surprising breakaway win today, congrats Vattenfall! Shouldn't affect the GC too much. A good 8th for Martinez for us, he always surprises in the sprints in CT races. Now for the mountains and the real battle to begin. |

That looks good but could've been better. Chacon should have won that sprint after wheelsucking Ginsjo for the last 10 kilomtres. Moreno missing out on boni's aswell

FroomeDog, check the Café Pedro, it's probably going to be a long night of CSI PCM.Daily.
Btw can this turn out the dumbest race this year in the MG? |

Aaah, finally, Arroyo time again. Maybe it'll help if I say he'll fail miserably this time?

Atleast Moreno didn't win the sprint for 4th this time.
He should be able to take the points competition which would be a nice extra

it was crazy, between about 11km and 5km it felt like I was taking a screenshot every 100 metres.
Can you imagine if pcm actually could handle small pelotons, and the race had been attacking from the start?
