Before this stage he was about 25min behind race leader, cause he lost a lot of time on stage to Spa.

2010 variant, he lost almost 5minutes on last time trial to Froome... Pfft

#6 It is because the Pace on the last climb was around 50 effort so he propably wasn't even tired when peloton reached the summit. Then there was lmost 30km downhill so he was just the fastest in this group Pfft Only climber-sprinter in there
