Reminiscing of Pro Cycling Managar, the first version of pcm I played, I came up with the idea to build a 2005 DB for pcm 2013.
2005 was an intresting year in the world of cycling. The cobbled classics were dominated by a young Belgian star called Boonen. The Giro was one of the most exciting GT's of the last decennia with an incredible apotheosis on the slopes of the Finestre. July was, for the 7th time in a row, dominated by a Boss from Texas who retired right after winning le Tour. The Vuelta was exciting aswell but there are still discussions going on who is the actual winner.
So this is you're chance to see how big names like Cunego, Valverde and Boonen can become. To see if Ullrich finally has what it takes to beat Armstrong. To try and repeat (T)Rebellin's Ardennes triple from 2004.
When will this database be ready?
First, It will definatly be after Cyanide have released their final patch. I currently have vacation but have exams again in August and don't think the patch will be there and I won't have enough time untill then so if everything goes according to plan, you should be able to enjoy this database in the early fall!

Well, the work can be divided into 4 big parts: Stage-making, Editing, Stats and Graphical work (Especially jerseys). I can make stages, edit and do the stats but would be happy if people proposed to help me in that. For the graphical work I'll need to rely on the goodwill from the great designers on this forum.
So if you want to help me, no matter how, post something in this thread or send me a PM.

A DB project by Spilak, interesting 
Tbh, didn't know you made stages  Speaking of them, I guess you should find several 2005 stages done, just needed to converted, because of TPhoton's 2005 DB for PCM10.

I have made quite a few stages for PCM 11 but never posted them here. That was quite a while ago though and I'm slowly mastering the stage-editor again.
Yeah, I hope tphoton still has most of his stages

Maybe a more general question than for this specific database, but how do people rate Armstrong's stats now?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

They all were under doping so normally? It's a 2005 Db eh? Why not stay in the past with all this stuff?
I think my Db and yours could complete a lot as i'm making a 1999 Db.
There is already a 2006 Db that you should take and make some adjustments

I won't really let doping influence the stats cause otherwise it would be very hard to do stats
Stats are mainly based on 2004-2005 so Armstrong will definatly be better as all other riders cause he was really dominant then, especially in 2004
