Is there a way to change the length of a team contract( eg. to change Endura's from the end of 2015 to earlier as I can't be bothered to play for that long to get a higher budget)? |

Prolonging the contract and/or raising the budget is only easy when the contract is not ending in that year.
Example if the contract runs until 2013:
1. To prolong the contract just adjust the year in DYN_sponsor
2. To raise next years budget, just add the needed amount (in Kilo EUR) to value_i_sponsor_future
If the contract is expiring, then the easiest way would be to just search for another sponsor. Normally you would get a better budget also.
In case you want to stay with Christina-Watches, just wait until the end of the season and then change the sponsor name back to Christina-Watches.
Another approach could be to set the sponsor contract length in the DB, then start a new career, simulate one day, close the game, open the dummy career with an editor and copy the value from value_i_sponsor_future to your real career. Of course you would need to fix the contract end in DYN_sponsor also.
Wrong section though.

I've never seen any contract in PCMDaily's Fantasy Betting
Yes, it's possible. You'll need to edit your save, table DYN_sponsor. Find Endura and lower the year of contract finish. But if you want to lower it to the year you currently are playing (e.g. you are in 2013, and want to lower it to 2013), you might have to edit something else, not sure about that. It's preferable to do it before creating a career if you have that option.

Another question linked to this thread :
In my next career I want the teams to stay with the same sponsors all the time as it was in the older version of PCM. That's why I changed the end of all contracts to 2030 (and I think I will go until 2030 )
But will my budget grow up or will it stay the same each year ?
Thanks |

Budget stays the same for as long as the contract goes.

As luigi said, it stays the same, but my season planner tool has "sponsor scenarios", which could be useful for your purposes.
This feature is not fully tested but it should work fine as long as your sponsor does not leave your team.

Ok I firstly thought that it was a bad way the game had taken, and that's clearly right in fact because I don't want to have those fantasy sponsors in my game
For people who would have done several career seasons : is it possible to keep the same sponsor year after year or are we forced to change ?
If other teams keep the same sponsors, and as a consequence the same budgets, will it be less changes in the world hierarchy ?
Thanks
@ Lachi : I don't really understand what your tool is doing, I'll firstly read the linked thread

If you have installed the game patch, then it is possible to prolong the contract with the sponsor. So no editing needed.
But you can also start a career with your edited database.
You have to edit your save after you have started the career by changing the year of your team to 2013. You don't have to change the contracts of other teams, they won't have budget problems anyway. |

You can keep your sponsor and change budget. I said that the budget is the same during the same contract; but you can renew with your sponsor, thus keeping the sponsor but agreeing on a new budget.

Ok thanks a lot for your answers !
That was what I thought : I can let other teams contracts until 2030 and mine during 1-2 years before renewing it.
I just hope that the fact other teams have always the same budget will not affect changes in hierarchy (no reduction of budget if results are not good enough, or no increase in the opposite case). I don't know how the game is calculating that point. It could be boring if it were still the same teams in World Tour in 2018 as in 2013 for example.

Like I said before, other teams never have any budget problems. (They don't even have a budget. The sponsors will just change randomly when it is not fixed as you did.) |

I have prolonged the contract of the sponsors, but I´m not able to contract any riders. "you don´t have a sponsor for the coming season", it says when I contact someone. But I have prolonged the sponsor contracts for another year. What should I do? |

If it was the last year of your sponsorship, I think you should also edit DYN_team -> fkIDfuture_sponsor. The formula should be ID sponsor*65536 + budget/1000.

The columns are called value_i_sponsor_future or value_i_sponsor_future2 for the secondary sponsor.

right. found it. on value_i_sponsor_future1 there´s a zero. on the second there are a lot of numbers. what should it say on number 1 then? the formula that lluuiigi wrote? having a little trouble understanding the actual formula. |

Uups, I guess I was too tired or something when I wrote that As Lachi said, it's value_i_sponsor_future.
As for the formula, it's just math If the ID of your sponsor is for example 150, and you want a budget of 2.500.000 euros: 150*65536 + 2.500.000/1000 = 9.830.400 + 2500 = 9.832.900.
