MARSUPILAMI: Hello Maximka Maximka: Hi! Great to be interviewed! M: You´re Russian... How do you write with your PC? Does it have russian letters or "European" letters? Ma: You know, in Russia we have to type on different languages. For exapmle, when you chating with friends, you type in Russian of course. But if you are gping to programm or something else, itshould be written by English letters. So I think about 99 percent of keyboards that are in stores have Russian and Latin letters. You are pressing Alt-Shift or Ctrl-Shift to shift between them. M: You´re a well-known shirtmaker here... Which of your jerseys do you think is the best? Ma: It is very complocated question. Many times I made new jersey I thought it is the best one. But time passing and I think it is not so good. So right now I think my best shots are fantasy Tinkoff-Saxo, Banesto, Saeco. And I like Liquigas jersey baswd on Italian national jersey. It is quite simple but looks very nice. M: How did you start making jerseys? Ma: It started with Aqua Minerale jersey for PCM06. That was my first jersey. But I started to make something when I had Cycling manager 4. I made few champions jersey for my career. Don't remember what team it was actually. M: And what program do you use to make them? Ma: The answer is simple. Photoshop. I glad that now we have possibility to have an "old" Photoshop for free, as before I had to have "pirate" version. M: A new question. What type of operative system do you use in your computer? Ma: It's Windows 7. 64-bit. M: You started learning English since... Ma: Ohhh... Let me remember. It was when I went to kindergarten. Fron that time I know that cat is a cat, and home is home. But if you mean learn ot for real it was say on 1995 or 1996 in school. Then it was in University and after graduate courses. M: And what languages do/did you learn in school, apart from Russian? Ma: English. But I like to know something new, so I tried to start learn Italian. But that tome I had not very much of free time, so that start finished by "Innamorata Pazzo". I like to watch foreign movies in original language. When you watch italian or french movie for a third time you are starting to understand something. M: To finish, do you usually play PCM? Ma: You know, I am almost 30 years engineer, PhD, I have wife that I love very much. But yes, I have time to play my PCM now. M: Big thanks! Ma: You're welcome! To be honest Mars, this is currently by far your best project. It's easy to give negative comments, but when it's good, that should be said too . The quality of the interviews has taken a huge way up, keep it up please!

T: Yeah, well, I thought about what would happen if you made a game where you weren't trying to win and 21 was an interesting number. Smile The rest of the game just came together around that. M: And I think that you decided that name because the 21st in the stage is out, am I wrong? T: Yeah, I remember in a book I read they had this line I really liked, related to Raymond Poulidor, it was called 50 ways to lose the tour, so I replace 50 with 21 because you went out if you came 21st. M: Why did you decide you wanted to be interviewed? T: I figured that nobody really new anything about me (people found out I was from Australia in the 21 ways to lose a race thread) and this is a good idea and a great way to share something about me. M: And will you play often CTWWYPCM? T: I will probably do a stage every couple of days or so, I'm hoping to reach the next round. M: I hope so! The Daily Journal... Do you like the concept? T: Yeah, it's a good idea, it reminds me of the community story, we all work together to make a story, it brings lost of story reporting styles together in a way. So it sounds like a good idea- we'll see how it continues. M: And now, who are Sylvain and Pierre Lipawsky? T: Well I got into cycling in 2011, which made my really like Pierre Rolland and the Schleck brothers, while in 2012 I began to like Sylvain Chavenal, so I used Pierre or Sylvain Schleck in any games, and earlier this year I made a custom team in pcm, where it just so happened that Nestor Lipawsky was a really good free rider I signed at the start who was just 23 and I really came to like virtual Nestor Lipawsky, so I began to use Pierre and Sylvain Lipawsky. M: Now choose: A song T: That's a tough one, happy birthday to me is pretty good. M: A film T: Breaking Away or Mr Bean in France. MARSUPILAMI: Hello baseballlover312! To start, who´s your Man-Game team? B: I am manager of Team Carlsberg - Danske Bank, a Danish Continental team. M: And do you like being a reporter? Did you stopped being it? B: I love being a reporter. The days where I was waiting to see if my application was approved were painstaking, and no, I haven't stopped. I just haven't had a lot of time to report recently, and races have been claimed in abundance by the other reporters, so i haven't felt the need. M: Would you like to be an admin? B: Of course I would love to be an admin. i worked hard on my application last time they were open. I think I could contribute well. but the fact is that I'm just a 15 year old kid, and so that doesn't mean much. I am perfectly content with just being a member on the site, and although I'd love to be an admin, I don't think I've really earned any more than that. M: Did you finally finished your 2009 DB? B: No, unfortunately I haven't. Without lluuiiggii's work being finished, I can't. And he hasn't showed up in a few months. So until that changes, the project is basically dead, and for no lack of motivation on my part. It sucks for it to end this way, especially after all the work that was put in, but there' really nothing I could do. I can promise you that if lluuiiggii ever turns up, the 2009 Db will be completed. M: Another topic, what game currently run do you think is the best? B: I'd probably give that honor to "I'm With Stupid". M: Why? B: I've been playing it since Cunego ran the first edition a couple of years ago, and when they questions and administration are good, it is a tremendously fun game to be a part of, without too much of a commitment. The perfect type of game for a forum in my opinion. M: Members DB. Did you like it? B: Yeah, I did. It was a very cool initiative and executed to near perfection by Jesleyh. It's fun to play with, though I haven't done it much, since I don't find the new PCM very fun. M: And did you like your stats and team? B: As far as my team its alright, but my jersey is so ugly that i have a hard time staring at it for too long. My rider stats are also okay, but I was a little upset that I was given so much stats into mountain and hill instead of raw sprint. i was told this would give me an advantage, but from what I've seen and played, it just makes me slower most of the time. MARSUPILAMI: Hello my friend! To start, it seems like you are a fanboy of Kiserlovski... Kiserlovski01: Well, it's true he's one of my favourite riders. In fact, I have always liked it when someone from a lesser known country suddenly showed what he's capable of. Kiserlovski is one example, but for that same reason I also like e.g. Kwiatkowski. Guess I took the first name that jumped to my mind when I needed a username. M: But you have Gorka Izagirre (I think) in your user-photo... K: Gorka has always been one of favourites. I got to know him via older PCM versions, where I picked him because I like his name. He was usually the only rider with an average lower than 70 that I always put in my custom team. Another reason is that he's a Basque. I have always admired both Bilbao's and Euskaltel's policy to keep working with Basque talents only. There are a lot of Basques I like: Gorka, Mikel Nieve, Mikel Landa... M: Anyway, in a 0-10 scale, where am I as a member? K: Right now, I'd give you a 6. Some of your ideas were interesting but maybe not always well thought-out. I won't deny that your pushyness annoys me sometimes. M: And this project? K: The personalized interviews: a well-deserved 8/10. Really like the new style of the questions. M: Another question, where do you live? K: I live in Belgium, in a city that counts more or less 60.000 inhabitans. For now I'm happy to live there, but I'm definitely thinking about travelling much or even moving abroad. M: Do you like watching Man-Game reports? K: TBH, I have never followed the Man-Game, don't even know what the concept of the game is. So I have never read a Man-Game report until now. M: When I look at your profile, I see your graphics! And I remembered the backgrounds I downloaded once! You are good mate! K: Thanks! For me it was the only thing I could really make myself. MARSUPILAMI: Hello! To start, what´s your real name? MitchNL: My real name is Mitch van Ewijk, so I guess my username isn’t really original. M: If we look at your threads, the most important one is the Favourite Musical Artist. Queen won and today is the death anninversary of Freddie. Do you like them? Mi: Personally, I’m not really into Queen. I like a few songs, but it’s not that I’m a great fan of them. I guess that my age has something to do with it, I’m more into modern day indie and alternative rock. M: One Republic should have won... Anyway, tell us something about Telkom Ecobank Mi: Yeah, the slowest story on the site I guess. I really had the motivation, but I thought my school wouldn’t take that much time. I was a bit wrong I guess… Anyway, I still have the save game, and every now and then I play some stages in the career, so I guess that the story is still on life support. Maybe you’ll hear something about it soon. M: Didn´t you find riders from stranger countries? Mi: No, every African country that’s in the DB that I use has a rider in my team. And to be honest, I think that the puncheurs from Kenya and Namibia are already strange enough. M: Time to talk about interviews in general. How would you rate interviews in general?
