At first I read I read jseadog's post and I was like "wut", just now taken a look in the first post. You mean, whaat? Not only this is going to have an end, but that's planned already? Oh, I'm starting to dislike these stories getting too much on the personal side, grabbing us too much into the plot. If they start to have planned endings and all, it's just too great; like a good book, that you don't want to finish, and after it keeps you thinking about it after all. Stories should be sillier, just some good PCM gameplay, and theorically last forever...

Maybe not all is as it seems. I don't think Mre would leave that unless he wanted it to be found, so there is still hope?
Or at least... FINISH CALI |

Hmm... 2 seasons left at least.
Well, it couldn't keep going for ever, I guess

@547984: Good luck getting Travis to 80 DH
@BBL: I think numbers and jseadog1 already answered that.
@lluuiiggii: Aw, don't take it out on little Ian. He had nothing to do with this. And I don't kill off characters... wait... I take that back. Sorry, Travis' dad. So, it is Ian's fault! Get the pitchforks!
@jseadog1: Yes, they do. I couldn't just leave without having an ending. You guys would kill me. More than you want to do right now.
@Jakstar22: Get him! It's not like I didn't warn everybody that this was coming eventually. You guys just didn't believe me.
@Ian Butler: Run Ian Run!
@The Hobbit: No worries Amgen will get finished (a long with the rest of the season of racing.) (And maybe more...) Also, you seem to be the only one to notice the ??? in the first post.
@Jesleyh: I got 26 episodes left to conclude this epic tale. Hang on, it's going to be a bumpy but (hopefully) fun ride.

I'm pretty confident now that Travis never comes back.
At least he can still get that office job.

With Fox withdrawing their sponsorship for the 2018 season,
I have to step up my game so I can get a contract for next year.
What better way to do that then at (secondary) home race.
May 12-19, 2017 : Amgen Tour of California
In my first pro race back in 2013 I won the King of the Mountains competition.
The result in 2015... well, that never actually happened according to the UCI.*
A rather weak start list. Mostly due to many of the European teams
boycotting the event because of political reasons Seth Meyers joked about.
That's fine by me, gives me a better chance to finish in the Top 10.
Craddock and I are still in a small of a quarrel over what happened in New Mexico. It didn't help that I went on to win the race, that's for sure.
I'd summarize Lawson's behavior as arrogance or jealousy. Take your pick.
--- *** --- *** --- *** ---
A prologue through the streets of San Diego and across the San Diego bridge.
Chloe, Zooey, and Joseph are all in attendance watching me today.
Feels great to be home!
I take that back. Right out of the start house I get booed heavily.
Californians don't forget the past very easily, as I learned when I raced track.
It sounded like the crowd was watching their beloved NFL team,
the Chargers, have another late season collapse.
The atmosphere surprised me after it was rather quiet at the Tour of the Gila.
I finish 30th and 38 seconds off the eventual winner.
Craddock grabs control of the team leader role by finishing 13th, +27".
The stage winner is the 2016 TDF and Amgen winner Michał Kwiatkowski.
He's trying his best to shine a positive light for the Europeans here in America.

Classified as hilly but the downhill finish makes this an interesting stage.
After what I would call a bad TT, I want to get that taste out of my mouth.
So, I decide to target the King of Mountains jersey for today.
The peloton doesn't seem to mind at all.
Fast forward to 10kms to go, I collect 24 KoM points and get the jersey.
The peloton has shunk down to 28 riders remaining. Fox still has 4 riders:
Me, Craddock, Berry, and Warbasse.
Berry and Warbasse push the tempo and sneakily pull off with 6kms to go.
This opens the door for me to try an attack! But Kwiatkowski is all over it.
Now I got everybody in my slipstream. It was worth a shot, but...
They saw my move and jumped on it right away.
Michał Kwiatkowski gets back to back wins! What a tour he is having so far.
I hang on to take 9th, I'm happy with that. And I get the KoM to wear.

EXP for the KoM jersey and my form is still really high.
The next race update will include Stages 3-5 of the Amgen Tour of California:
Spoiler
My training is in your hands for the rest of my career.
After each race I can receive both EXP and Form Points.
EXP is a permanent stat gains while Form is temporary (the next race update).
A maximum of 3 EXP and 5 Form can be rewarded after each stage.
After any stage I receive EXP or Form points
you guys get to decided where I put those stat gains to use.
All you have to do is comment on which category you want
1 of the stat gains to go (Ex. Mountain, Sprint, Flat, etc.)
The EXP points are used up first followed by the Form.
Each member can only say one category for themselves.
And it will go until all the points are used up.
If you have any questions about my training, leave a question below.
It looks confusing at first but it's rather simple,
and this will be the only method for me to progress talent wise.

Now I see it I can't help but notice all the small imperfections! If I'd known I might have redone it!!
I'm feeling surprisingly stressed
+1 mt, as that's a tough stage. |
