Conclusion to 2017 season:
Kyle Lewis was 1st in UCI world tour ranking, and signed a new contract with Movistar! I assume that is what caused him to not ride much in the fall. Will see how he does with the new team. He will also be going into his last season as a young rider next year, though I think white jerseys are not the color he wants anymore.

Another little preseason bit!
Kyle looks to start 2018 with his new team Movistar, but personally his goals don't look to change. Still at the top of the list would be defending his Yellow Jersey, getting wins in the Ardennes. Claiming the World Championships, and reclaiming his national RR champion status.
Again the TdF looks imposing, and it seems organizers were not happy that their day on the cobbles last season was cancelled, so this year, we see 2 rides over cobbles, a flat route into Roubaix, then a team time trial around the city.
Heading towards and into Spain this year the riders will get a chance to ride the final stretch of the San Sebastian and the standard route over Jaizkibel and Arkale right before the finish. I'm sure many will be thrilled to race over those two climbs an extra time in July. The route then gets difficult with a climb to the top of Luz Ardiden after climbing and descending Col du Tourmalet. There is also stop in Andorra at the peak of Arcalis. The climbing doesn't get any easier either, as there is only 1 day between the Pyrenees and the Alps, and the route also dives into Italy at Sestriere. Finally we get the the heart of many TdF races, a trip up Col du Telegraphe and then further up and over Col du Galibier into Briancon. All that work is follow by a ride back up Galibier and ending up on the legendary 21 hairpins of Alpe d'Huez.
The World Championships this year are in Germany, and would imagine that reigning world ITT champ Tony Martin will be looking heavily to defend his title and perhaps take aim at winning the RR too.

Great Story! I love the set up. GL at defending your Tour title with Movistar.
It would be nice if you would post screenshots of the top stats, btw. |

No, once the PMG gets done with the draft and I get the season started on that I should have time to come back to this some.
EDIT: Actually I think I am going to kill this one, but will start a new one, bigger and better! I'm going to start with the new 2012 db, made some changes to the XML files, and the CDB file to vastly improve the career mode. Also I'm thinking Twins! (Going to be like the Feillu brothers, except better, one sprinter one climber.)
