Hey, as you all probably know, am I working on accessories for the Pro Tour teams, then I would try them in the game, but I discovered a bug with all the accessories, it looks like the graphical crew behind the accessories, has enabled auto color, so my accessories in been coverede by "the autocolor" look at the pictures

Which .db are you using? The accessories work fine for me with the PCMDaily.db.

The game will use auto-colour if no other accessories are available.
If you add accessories, those will be used.
Therefore, I'm guessing you've named them wrong or something like that. As far as I know, the game can't paint over your accessories. |

I'm 95% sure that I names the accessories correct, I copied the exact name from the other accessories "12katusha" fx. and pasted it in front of _bottle, _gloves and so on, so I really don't understand why it isn't working.

It's pretty strange indeed. Because you see that the game does recognize your accessories and is using them - but it's painting the auto-color part above the accessories. The bottle, for example, should be plain white with autocolor part in the top and a Cyanide logo in it if the game didn't find an accessory for it - but you can see the normal bottle, only with the autocolor part. I have no idea why this is happening though.

Is there anyone who knows how to fix the bug i posted? Because if it can't be fixed, then will I stop doing the rest of the accessories for the Pro Tour teams, and start making custom packs again...

Here are a few quick screens of the teams that work.
Notice looking that there are problems with the gear for the other teams (lotto, omega, katusha) not showing up properly though.
If I have time over the weekend, I'll try to puzzle it out. My first thoughts would be:
1. Cache files somewhere need clearing out.
2. Files named incorrectly - though look fine at first glance.
3. There's some kind of issue with the file format or the way the files have been saved. Having a first quick look I don't see anything obvious though - ie 32 bit tga's with correct alpha channels.
4. There's a setting somewhere in the .db that defines accessories and has not been updated for some teams.
5. The game just does random ridiculous things. |

Sounds nice, would be very nice if my accessories could be useful for as many people as possible!

Just had a quick look and taking 12liquigas and 12lotto as examples, I'm inclined to say that it looks like this is the answer.
Liquigas works and Lotto doesn't...... |

Now that would be really ridiculous.
But it's also strange, because it never happened with the 2011 teams, did it? (the teams which Cyanide gave accessories)

I figured out this problem some months ago, and it's just because not all accessories for the team are made.
The autocolor function enables when there aren't enough accessories, and i've noticed that you aren't including shoes in your packs, so i think that's the only problem.
Try to put in a default shoe in the team's cloth and it should work

Indeed, cheers andy. Saves us a little bit of head scratching and I can kind of see the logic behind it. |
