What a win!
Hayakawa was very much in the mix at the TDU with a much stronger sprint field, so I had some optimism. But still I was hoping for a podium... Also puts him in excellent position to take a run at the green jersey.
Clearly huge credit goes to Fiorelli as well for dragging him back into position. |

Not much for us in these first stages, but glad to see Osorio sticking close to Cras in the finale.
Congrats Jack! Looking forward to waking up to a new stage each day (although of course whenever it comes I'll be ready)

Would have hoped for a better result for Losch as there were not too many great sprinters there. But we didnt come for the sprint result, but for the GC. Looking forward to the next stages!

Yep, read it and weep everybody. Two points for Marin. He had to position himself really well to achieve that too.
Nice report again rd! Now that our sprinter has achieved his goal, can't wait for the mountains.

Congrats Nisky, Tivani is still a good option for C2 races!
Boulahoite using his few RDs to apply for a next season contract is nice to see.

Came down a bit back to earth with that one. Had hoped for more since the next couple days suit Hayakawa less, but can’t be too greedy… |

3rd from Sureda is acceptable, especially considering the train collapsed.
Tivani in pole position for the points classification, but the next two stages should suit Sureda well, so a stage win is still possible.

Well, those were unexpected points from Darder, well done!
Outside of that, it's stage hunting from us. The TTs of course, and maybe mountain points? Curious on what Berthet can cook on this course, e.g. on stage 7.
Thanks for the preview and reports!

It's a nice surprise to see Chiarrucci involved in the sprints. No expectations for him, just nice to see him giving it a go

What was that Marin?!
Was more than happy just to have him compete in the sprints and pick up some minor points and then he randomly wins a stage. That's our first win ever too from one of our lowest maxed OVL guys. Absolutely awesome, especially given it was so unexpected.
Thanks rd!
