The key dates for the upcoming transfers (at least planning it like this). All times are in BST (British time). Transfer DB and Rules will be posted beforehand.

Unresolved free agent bids will go to a silent auction.
Noting that for the first few days.

Timings will be adjusted should the forum experience any downtime during this period.
And last but not least again. No guarantee it really starts with that time line. If there is a delay, it will be postponed. |

If we're doing FA bidding on the site again, would it be possible to try to get email thread reply notifications working again before transfers? I haven't been getting them for tracked threads in the last year, and I'm not sure it's on my end. Usually doesn't matter given site activity levels, but would be useful for knowing when you've been overbid and need to respond.

Question, is 24th of July already set in stone? For me the worse possible date, but I totally understand it's impossible to find a perfect date for all managers involved, though maybe a poll next time would be an idea to have a date that at least most managers then would agree on. For example give 3 Fridays on a row as an option or something.
Another question I always like to spend time on the pre-transferDB, but it hasn't been out there yet, or did a miss something (on holiday so could be my fault)

Unfortunately, it won't be possible to move it back for this season. We can have the poll introduced for next season, no problem about that.

As with Oleg one of the worst times it could be for me so a poll bext year would be great. On the other hand, the most important is that it works for the admins

Yes having transfer season in July when I believe most of the managers are on holiday wasn't the smartest idea imo but ok, what should I do since I will be literally in the desert (Gobi) almost the whole transfer period

I think we'll start in July becauae we actually won some weeks in the last season which is a good thing in my opinion. Maybe we can do the same this season and start in June next year?

I don't think any date is gonna work perfectly for everyone. Everyone is busy and has unavailable spots, and if it wasn't because of a vacation it would be being busier with work or family obligations. I think that's just the reality of having a manager base that are adults with responsibilities and schedules rather than teenage and university-aged managers like we used to have. I'm also a little confused by the apparent surprise as we've been having summer transfer seasons for years and years now.
I agree that the fact that we were able to move it up compared to last year is a good thing and hopefully continues.
