September ranking update! Let's find out who's close to getting promoted to PCT. First, the month of September itself.
A late title push from Kraftwerk? The Germans with a great month and 242 points to make their (soon to be ex-?) sponsor proud. Podium Ambition also showing what's in a name in second place with just less than 200 points. Others scoring above 100 this month are Peugeot (185), Glanbia (174), IncaLine (151) and SEE Turtles (120). The worst this month was Air New Zealand with 15 points, with also Euskadi scoring 42 and maybe losing out on their promotion spot.

So let's see what that gives in total so far!
Ok, the Kraftwerk title push might have been exaggerated a bit. Bianchi stays in the lead with quite a buffer over the (new) number two, Kraftwerk. It'll be close for second, though, as Ethiopian is only just below the Germans. Peugeot in fourth almost seems to be sure to promote as well.
Podium comes into the top-5, as they jump over the Turtles and Euskadi. Turtles stay in sixth, whereas Euskadi drops to seventh right before the final month. Euskotren, the other Basques, one spot behind at around 100 points of their compatriots.
IncaLine into the top-10 after a good month, with Parmalat and Tafjord as their victims. A nice jump from Glanbia as well from fifteenth to thirteenth, as New Zealand remains in last place.

And individually, Perera stays in the lead. Galta at only four points now, though! Smith on the podium with also a four points buffer over Habtemichael, who had a nice September. Buitrago in fifth is the second Ethiopian Airlines rider in the top-5, whereas the rest of the top-10 consists of guys who have been higher in the individual rankings before in this season.

Really poor month from us sees us throw away any chance at a top 2 finish. Should hopefully have enough of an advantage to cling on to third but wouldn't necessarily bet on it. In any case, promotion is well and truly wrapped up now - time to put some Tuskers on ice and start planning for PCT.

Given Perera's season is over, I would be shocked if this doesn't happen. Nevertheless an extremely strong showing from someone we signed more or less as an afterthought.
The great news is that our team has already had a banner year and demolished any previous standards set by their predecessors. The terrible news is that now I have to stress the final month of the season and hope that Montenegro can somehow outperform Lagane - which simply shouldn't occur. Plus we'd have to hold off any Turgis heroics.
It's going to be a fun battle for that final promotion spot - hopefully there are minimal disbands to force others up for the sake of the community, but I'm sure all 3 of us would like to fight tooth and nail to keep every position.
