Just under 12 hours to go for the 2025 transfer window to open!
This thread here is to discuss whatever is going on in the transfers, though as a reminder, it`s needed to stay inside the rules, which in especially goes for pointing out any deals/bids etc.
Also clear rule breaking shouldn`t be posted here but ideally being mentioned to the MG admins directly via PM.
For now, this thread is the only part of the transfers subforum you are allowed to post in and discuss while obviously staying inside the rules.
Once transfers start, you can start with advertising your riders/team in the advert subforum as also start to bid on FAs in the new trasnfer portal, while deals and loans need to wait another bit as the timeline shows you.
Good luck to everyone. Don't forget to read the rules if you haven't yet

I mean, there's some really interesting stuff in the rules. I suggest everyone reads them
Probably the transfer season I'm least looking forward to ever. I've got the money, but I don't have the time.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Hyped! I've noticed that these threads have had fewer and fewer posts every year. Maybe we should try to reverse the trend this year?
And I know that skype/discord has taken over reactions and some of the more day to day discussions, but threads like this is a lot of fun, and interesting to look back at later
I noticed Roturn had countdown on an old one

I'll rather say best of luck to everyone not looking at my targets.
May all bad luck smite everyone that does look at them!

Not sure how you Europeans do it waiting all day. I still have one more sleep Then my usual 6:30am alarm for a 7am transfers opening!
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

We do it the following way:
Plan
Panic
Change plan
Panic again
Change plan
Think you are happy
Oh, shit. That dosen't work
Back to first plan
So as you see, we should've had more time til transfers start...
The big question is really, do I stay up til 1 AM, or do I sleep and get up early?

Agree with Heine, I never liked the skype/discord thingy.

Tick - Tock
9 hours where all plans still look viaable and good
A great idea from Nemo on discord. Take a screenshot of your transfersheet plan or other places you have your plans, would be fun to see how different it looks after transfers

At the end of the day, I will either have a team, or not. I guess it's 50/50.
