Yes!!! 
Felt pretty confident in our chances at the Danish NC with Guldhammer and a mountain route, but you never know with the lack of selection in these routes. And indeed, it wasn't selective, so we could have gotten burnt if we didn't control the race.
Really happy to have the jersey back, and it couldn't have gone to a better guy. Olesen was a stag who bounced around a bit, and this was his first year maxed despite his age. He's been a really versatile domestique for us the last couple of seasons, and it will be awesome to see him wearing his national colors for us next year.
Thanks for the report cunego! And congrats to Grieg on an expected win for Wurtz.

Congrats to all the winner so far!
The NCs already raced weren't really those where we fancied our chances, so not surprised we didn't get anything yet. However, Brunel in 9th in the French TT is definitely nothing to scoff at
Also, pretty logical winners so far - except for Danmark, probably. So it's good to see that the win at least went to the big favorite's team

Honestly, I could care less for the NC's this season. My best bet would be both races in the Kazakhstan National Championships.

Well, with the UBS riders being absent, it was definitely much easier to do well in the Swiss NC. Nonetheless, a great race by the boys - but did it really have to be Lienhard?

The TT win by Mäder is a great one as well, as it means that our riders won both titles - Mäder is just out on loan with Generali. He probably wouldn't have beaten Dillier or even Küng, but as the Frenchman says "les absents ont toujours tort" (he who is absent is always in the wrong). Honestly thought that Stüssi would take both titles (maybe Frankiny the RR one), but I guess the numbers really made the difference here.

I have a question regarding the French championship, why didn't my rider participate in this race?
I know he wouldn't have any chance of winning but it's still weird.

That is correct. 32 teams nominated riders for the French championships, but only 24 teams are able to participate. France was the outliere though, otherwise only one or two teams each had to be removed from the championships of the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy. Like Fabianski quoted, they were always the riders with the lowest chances on the given terrain.

Stelly Robert was going the win the French NC, he just never got the chance 
Very happy with Beukeboom in Holland. Active with a late attack in the road race and overperforming in the time trial. Nice end to his LPH career

Does that mean that the teams missing out on the RR will automatically miss out on the TT as well? Agree with Nemo that this isn't cool for Robert - although I don't agree that he was going to beat Paillot or Viennet

Making seperate starting fields for road race and time trial would have been somewhat complicated, so I decided against it, and in excluding riders, I focused on the road race because I figured that's where weak-ish riders were at least a little more likely to make an impact (so, keep the 70 climber rather than the 72 time trialist). I will admit though that Robert was an oversight and he should have been kept in because of his good time trialing. Still, like you said, it's incredibly unlikely that he would have actually had a chance to win, so I hope everybody can live with this

No worries, I was just making fun of Robert as a possible road race winner, I can definitely live with him not being in the time trial.
Spoiler Not including him in the road race, however, was the biggest mistake of your life.

Winning the NED NC is awesome. Not sure I ever did win the road one myself and only had it for once after trading Dekker I think?
Neither Boom nor Olivier or Groenewegen yet did have it in my time iirc. Dumoulin at least had the ITT once. |

Congrats Roturn! Satisfied with a top 10 in a flat race from Sinkeldam. Nice swan song for him before his decline. He's been very solid for us the last few years.

Thanks and congrats to you as well! After Würtz failed miserably in the ITT last year, it's good to see him finally (? I think this is his first NC win) get the jersey.
