Henri Vanlerberghe?
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Guessing this means the TDF winner in 1920 since I don't think Remco's grandad was a cyclist, the only interwar winner I could name off the top of my head is Bartali I believe which obviously wasn't in 1920

Correct, finaly someone who googled it
He also won the 1913 and 1914 Tour de France, but the war kept him from winning more in his best years. No one knows him now while he should be up there with Merckx, Hinault, Anquetil and Indurain.

Stop the insults, I have a poster hanging with every winner of TdF, all it required was turning my head to check
Taking this back to the present and the biggest clue I can give, is that is one is the only pro cyclist from my country

I think it’s Antonio Nibali, I read a story a while ago that Scarponi’s faithful parrot friend joined him on a training ride. |

Of course you are right again
Antonio Nibali lives in the same town as Scarponi’s widow and took Frankie the parrot out for a ride. Thought this was a beautiful image. |
