Huge update coming with 22 races, 4 PTHC, 4 HC, 4 C2 and 10 C1 events.
System will be short overview over the two highest categories, then the C1 events followed by a quick C2 overview with the full ranking to follow last.
The ranking before was that Volvo did lead over Popo4ever and ISA but gaps in general were super small, in especially the area between just under the top 5 and bottom 5 but also those two parts are far from sealed yet.
Scandinavian Open Road, Tour of Norway, Riga Jurmala and Colombo Classic for some teams with high scorings against PT teams while Cheshire, Berlin Pro Race, Kigali and Post Danmark in the HC category. Lots of puncheur races alongside a bit for sprinters and cobblers. Not a big event update for climbers so far.
Desigual not only scored highest in Norway with incredible 320 points but also in Danmark. Alongside some smaller scorings here and there they top this ranking with 679 points in total over this period. Having been 10th before, this might be an attack on the promotion spots.
Xero and Delvaux follow. First really needed those points being 22nd only while Delvaux is in a similar scenario as Desigual. Main scoring came from Cheshire and Danmark for first alongside Norway and Scandinavian Open, Riga, Danmark for later.
Also with high scorings ISA, Volvo, UBS who all belong to the big teams in the promotion fight while Europcar the only other team with 500+ points in those races in the fight against relegation. 2/5 bottom 5 teams with strong runs here putting pressure on other teams clearly.
At the bottom Popo4ever with 32 points only showing that once Pluchkin not racing, they simply struggle big time. Surely losing their 2nd position and maybe even promotion chances?
Also Sauber and Swisslion with less than 100 points while e.g. Philips on just 152 not scoring a lot to leave the relegation ranks.

Next the 10 C1 events with mountain races in Andorra but also Romandie and Japan. Puncheur events in South Africa, time trials in Monterrey as team and on cobbles in Arenberg alongside Olympia`s Tour while the sprinters enjoying it as well plus Frankfurt and Hanko for them. Malopolskiy for the cobblers.
cycleYorkshire being best here with 699 points mainly coming from the strong Olympia`s Tour alongside Frankfurt Eschborn, South Africa and actually their underperformance in the TTT.
Xero teh only other coming close with lots of decent races highlighting in the GC win by Bennett in the Tour of Japan!
UBS, Duolingo and Valio follow next with decent scorings in several events.
At the bottom Lierse not having their strongest runs and also Carrefour, Europcar, Swisslion with less than 100 points.

Just 4 races in C2 with cobbles in Dunkerque and Lillestrom, mountains in Trentino, sprinters in Tropicale Amissa Bongo.
Only 9 teams with C2 scoring, not sure right now though if any of the others still used race days there.
Kraftwerk with 63 in Trentino topping the list with Iberia`s 53 in Lillestrom and ISA 51 in Dunkerque and Lillestrom combined next. Might have bit of an impact but shouldn`t play the biggest role in the full ranking.
| | Team | Total | Dun | Tre | Ami | Lil | | 1 | | Kraftwerk Man Machine | 63 | 0 | 63 | 0 | 0 | | 2 | | Iberia - Team Degenkolb | 53 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 53 | | 3 | | ISA - Hexacta | 51 | 41 | 0 | 0 | 10 | | 4 | | Sauber Petronas Racing | 31 | 30 | 0 | 0 | 1 | | 5 | | Valio - Viking Genetics | 30 | 0 | 0 | 30 | 0 | | 6 | | Lierse SK - Pizza Ullo PCTeam | 28 | 28 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | 7 | | Volvo acc. by Spotify | 21 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 21 | | 8 | | Minions | 11 | 11 | 0 | 0 | 0 | | 9 | | Team UBS | 9 | 0 | 9 | 0 | 0 |
In addition to the last ranking we surely will see lots of changes. Volvo under pressure but are they able to defend the lead?
Actually no, they still doing well but drop down to 2nd being passed by ISA - Hexacta, which kind of was expected seeing their scoring in the previous parts. They lead with 101 points now while at the same time having used the smallest amount of race days of all top12 teams making them a huge promotion favourite. Their prjections even see them creating a huge gap in the end.
Volvo as said in 2nd also with a decent gap by now followed by UBS with a nice jump lately and Campari. All with a similar amount of race days used, so it`s still pretty open.
cycleYorkshire had a great run lately jumping from 12th to 5th but also Desigual 10th to 6th and in especially Xero from relegation zone`s 22nd to 7th suddenly close to the promotion area and with gaps still not that big, all is possible for them.
Rakuten, Delvaux and Berg as next in the top10 which also means that Popo4ever indeed went down a lot from 2nd to 12th! Kraftwerk from 14th to 19th and Swisslion from 11th to 21st other teams that dropped quite a bit and now are in relegation fear.
At the bottom Xero as only team really went up heavily with Valio from 20th to 13th also with a better gap now.
All others still being down there with in especially Philips still struggling. Saber/Kelderman really not performing as they should probably and it`s the last team not having passed the 1000 point mark and it`s not almost 500 points below the safe zone.
Sauber and Europcar a bit higher but also couple of strong races for later did not move them up too much yet, at least they keep contact though.
Carlsberg and Carrefour the other two teams. Both still not too far behind and in especially Carlsberg looking a lot better race day wise. Just like Europcar they have more to spend then e.g. Carrefour and Swisslion which might help them in the end.
Same goes for the next teams just above the line though. Lierse, Kraftwerkm Iberia all with some more races left which automatically puts the pressure on Andorra, Kulcyk and ENI a lot.

The former top2 did not race this update but for Pluchkin it`s still easily enough to lead the individual ranking and hard to believe anybody can still beat him as the gap is simply huge.
Dan Martin though up to 2nd following a strong Tour d'Andorra while Summerhill is up to 4th as best cobbler after winning the Cheshire Cycling Tour.
Guarnieri from 17th to 5th as best sprinter doing well in Berlin and in especially Riga Jurmala while also scoring here and there without being too strong elsewhere.
Tenorio and Uran drop a bit but still having decent seasons while Stallaert as alrounder up to 8th after performing well in all the cobbled races in Cheshire, Malopolskiy and Hanko Classic.
Ahlstrand drops a bit but still forming one of the strongest duo`s team wise just after Stallert for Volvo.
Fraile from 55th to 10th quite a surprise in the rankings and on a huge season. 209 points in PTHC Norway and 188 HC points in Danmark really speak for his strength.
Sepulveda just out of the top10 with Degenkolb also dropping and on a weak year clearly.
Puncheurs in general not very high in the rankings with Beltran an excemption as combo puncheur. Izagirre as 14th the best of them with Bellis and Gautier following a bit afterwards.

Itts been a terrible period for us, so not really surprised to see us fall down from 5th. The good news is its totally still possible to get back up there, but it will take a strong finish to the year. I still think Kinoshita has barely raced, and Shikai rides more near the end too if I recall correctly, but Costagli simply hasn't been good enough, and our team really dropped the ball a few times too.

About what I expected. We still have a shot, but it's really only for 21st at this point, and it's not very likely. We have race days in hand, but VSB has carried us thus far, and the classics season is over. So our best point scoring opportunities are behind us. Unless by some miracle we steal some big wins from breakaways, our chances of avoiding relegation are very slim. JJ, Garby, and AKA all under 50 points, Appo under 100. That just doesn't cut it, and those are the guys I'll be relying on now. Never thought Ranneries and Ostergaard would be scoring better than them.
Thanks for the update!

Four teams seems to have gotten a bit of a gap, but there’s still competition for especially that last promotion spot. Guarnieri has kept us in the top 10 with his performances, but he doesn’t have a lot of race days left. We need some improved performances from the other boys to stay in the fight.

Thanks for the update! ISA is really at another level here. I'm happy where we are sitting though, we are comfortably in a position for promotion which is the main goal.

Had hoped to move towards the promotion spots but we rather went the other way. Promotion looks very out of reach at the moment. Thanks for the update roturn!

Oh boy, it's gonna be a rough ride from here on out. This was, as was expected our worst part of the season. Haven't really gotten any freak results yet this season, hopefully one or two are around the corner.
The PpRD projection doesn't really mean as much. It's more about the PpBRD for us. Points per Beltran's race days

Let the least shit team stay up
Thanks for the update!

Nice to see that Xero has climbed a lot since the last update but jeez, Philips has a rough season. Absolutely terrible.

They went on a crusade against Baltics. Shouldve learned from the history that Lithuanians will be their bane

What an update! So happy we're now in 5th after what has been a fantastic season even though we had a slow start to the year. Philips being so low is a shocker really but happy to see Xero race up the rankings.
Also,

Hard to think we only scored 4 pts in Romandie when Meintjes finished 2nd overall
John St Ledger in Team Bunzl-Centrica and Team U25
Red Bull Driver in RFactor

Thanks a lot for the rankings update
Very happy with the team, still able to bank solid points holding on to a top 5 position, but especially this time we have seen some teams making huge improvement scoring a lot of points, nothing set in stone with the season far from over yet.
Congrats to Xero and other teams with a huge 5th "period" and sorry for those with bad luck, especially Philips

Omar Fraile is single-handily trying to get us promoted again. After a slow start, I didn't like our chances. Still on the outside looking in but we are in the fight — just like we have been the past five seasons as we constantly yo-yo up-and-down between the Pro Tour and the PCT.
We don't know how to finish in the middle of the pack.

Wow. Pre-season I would have seen the current overall team standings as hard to believe, but here we find ourselves! I had more confidence than where most of the pre-season predictions placed ISA - Hexacta, as was reflected in agreeing a top 10 standings goal with our new sponsor cohort, but this is far above expectations.
The signing of Sepulveda has definitely made a big difference in turning aound races that were producing zero-pointers last season to big ppRD return thus far. The changing dynamics of PCM AI has given a boost to some of ISA's riders who have been under-performing in previous seasons (Jianhua Ji a particualrly striking example; very similar race programme as 2018, close to 3 times as many ranking points accumulated (and a good number of RD's still to race)). Multiple riders making strong contributions reflects the team depth-building ethos. Nonetheless, the roster is not significantly removed from the 2018 WCC iteration. Not everything has been a roaring success - pre-season signing Emerson Santos f.e. has no points on the board as yet.; hopefully he is saving himself for the 2nd half of the season.
It is important to keep in mind that the relatively low amount of RD's used reflects that ISA - Hexacta have the ToA on our race programme - an event that season-to-season has a history of causing most participating teams ppRD to take a hit. So the current projection based on ppRD is likely somewhat inflated. With so many points in the bank though, it is hard not to start to get somewhat excited/trepidatious about what the rest of the season may bring our way and imply for the 2020 racing season. There are strong teams hot on our heels and we have a very big target on our back now.
Thanks as always to Roturn for the comprehensive rankings update, and all the race reporters who keep the season rolling along at a great rate.

How low do the points go in Monterrey now? Looks like we didn't get any this year but I thought they normally went down to 15th, and we finished 14th and last.
The extra 5 points probably won't make any difference but we are only 10 behind Europcar atm so worth asking just incase we temporarily gain an extra position as the file I have says we should get 3 per rider, but it is a couple of seasons old.
Apart from that we are just about keeping touch with the relegation fight which is what we were aiming for this season, hopefully UBS keep their promotion spot, I always enjoy seeing them do well, especially after the deals we've had between us over the years.
Good news is everything is on track for our future as a team as the youngsters are developing nicely, we just need to hope renewals go smoothly and we can find any loans we need next year.

Thanks for the update.
Kraftwerk slipping down during a quiet period. Need to make the most of our race days at the end of the season. Mid table result seems fairly certain.

As far as I know, the 2017 Points Scale is the most recent one, with Monterrey offering points for the first 16 teams. 2 points for 14th is correct according to this scale.
