A good start for Roglic, every second win over the competition will be important in this race.
It just makes me disappointed that the rest of the team, despite having good climbers, disconnect at the end and end up in non-scoring positions.
Congrats Marco for the win

Everything starting off solid, team seemingly good and Machado performing to expectations, let's keep it consistent.

I'd like to say hill matters, and that's why Garby fails, but when you have guys like Krasno a minute ahead, it certainly can't be that. Hopefully he'll be aggressive now? I doubt it.
Schoffmann's break was fun, maybe he should go for GC instead.
Unless Schoffmann can take the KOM, which seems unlikely since better climbers will enter the breaks as time goes on, we are gonna grab that zero pointer here. Wonderful.

Already losing time, luckily we have some time to make Benats gulag cell a little bit more tolerable

Happy to see Nerz hanging with the leaders on the final climb.
Tartarinov animated the race, more of this please.
Somehow we are 2nd in the team comp, would be great to keep this up!
Thanks for the report Kent and congrats Marco, looks like Uran is a firm favourite.

Wow! Well, Shirota leading KOM and Youth is atleast decent. If we can win those it will make up for Costagli being trash again. Wasn't expecting loads from him, but was expecting him to be stronger than Shirota, Hatsuyama and Iino atleast.

First rage for no-one getting in the break, then rage for somehow wining the sprint from the peloton, not how I wanted the race to go so far with no breaks but the team is looking goos so far

Pretty confused as to how out of my three guys, Bjelkmark, the actual climber, is the one who missed out on the break. But that's how it goes in that early km scramble I guess.
Schoffmann's gotta go for KOM more aggressively. It's our only chance at some points here.

Thanks for the preview Kent, didn't feature my man Nerz rightly as he has been a bit disappointing so far but thats about to change isn't it Dominik!
Or we could be hoping for KOM & Breakaways
Hell yeah, let's go Dominik
Wild race, even as a noninvolved spectator. Great reports as well!

Than was no bull-shit climbing from our man. No wheel sucking
Must have been a superform day no guarantee Martin can keep that covered but happy as long as it last.
Thanks for the report.

Really liked the aggression from Marquez even though he did not have enough to hold off the stronger climbers. Hopefully, he keeps up the attacking mindset.
Congrats on the win Tamijo and thanks for the report Kentaurus!

Yes Machado beautiful!! Tremendous ride and jumps onto the podium, he is truly in the fight for it, and with Seboka taking over the U25 the race suddenly had a big change, all about keeping it now Congratz Tamijo on the win and thanks Kentaurus for the report!

Nice of Benat to perform to his abilities for once. Big TT tommorow, I expect him to end up in top 3 GC

Garby getting dropped from the break that early after a good first climb is just the epitome of Carlsberg racing. Then Fabbro is the one that counters for KOM, despite Schoffmann finishing in the same group as him and actually being ranked in KOM. The ineptitude continues to astound me.
End my suffering, please. Somebody put me out of my misery. It needs to stop. I can't do this anymore. Can I just withdraw my team for the rest of the year and start planning for CT?

Hell that is what I did from the start of last season. Couldn't get any big transfers, so just got youth that I could keep down in CT and be productive.
