Kangert again a bit slower than usual. Formolo looks sharp though.

Opportunity missed. Really had high hopes seeing the work our team put in for Swift. Unfortunately we lacked the firepower as a team towards the end. Swift looked sharp though, but like all others seemed to be surprised by Manninen's launch.
Now, let's step it up and take that stage win. The earlier the better!
Big congratulations to Atlantius, what a win thinking of the team as a whole and the Finland focus you've always had! Also thank you for the report, roturn. Must say I enjoyed the overviews we got coming closer to the finish, making it easy to follow the movements near the front of the peloton. |

Unexpected change of pink... Let's see if that makes any difference to the race. Congrats to ember on a nice win for Swifty, that's more like it!

Agreed, there goes my white jersey!
Gaviria really wasted the opportunity yesterday, if he can do this on a flat stage..
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

If we don't get back into pink tomorrow, y'all can sleep in the lobby.

Just what the doctor ordered
Perfect execution by Swift and the team, eventhough our leadout looked sort of messy in all pictures leading up to the sprint. Nice to see him claim the ciclamino as well, at least for a day. If we can continue to win or at least podium the flat stages, he should be in the running for that jersey for quite a while, eventhough Herklotz is the big, big favourite when all stages are done.
Now, let's sit back and relax for a stage, and then focus on another sprint stage on stage 5, hopefully adding to Swift's win count now that we're off to a good start |

Dumb AI on that split between the trains and the rest of the pack but I think it's supposed to be a good thing from our perspective that Herklotz doesn't have the jersey for tomorrow and maybe doesn't benefit from the usual ever so slight pink jersey boost.
Thanks roturn! And congrats ember, that was close!

I hereby consider yesterday's error to be remedied.
Again we are 18 points ahead of Swift going into a sprint stage, so ciclamino is at stake again for another day. Let's try to Top 15 this time.

Some nice bonus points from Meijers' KoM jersey. Other than that, absolutely nothing.

Thank you or the consistent reporting, roturn
Nice to see the three top contenders for the overall fight for a stage win already. Promising for what's to come. Herklotz looks the sharpest so far, congratulations, cio!
Pity neither Tvetcov nor Lunke could cling on to the front group, but they're here for breakaway attempts on the mountain stages, fingers crossed this result only helps that matter. But now all eyes are set on the upcoming flat stage. Absolute key for Swift here, as the next flat stage is a tricky one, and then we'll need to wait for stage 10. Should mean we're fully focused and ready for the challenge on stage 5. If we get it right, that should hopefully mean another win for Swift. |

And Herklotz is back on track.
Happy that Nesset managed to stay in the first group there. More of the same, please!

I hoped that the stage wouldn't be enough to lose time, but i was wrong. High mountains can't come soon enough for us

Surprisingly getting some GC points from Zardini here but this can only compensate the points lost by Vesely stage for stage.
So far can`t be very happy with the sprint performances here. A potential stage winner and surely podium contender on flat stages can`t even make it into the top5 missing out on several points and improvement needed clearly.
GC wise all fine, Olivier and Zardini up there. Even though not ideal that the whole team works so much for Vesely without outcome. Surely should not spending energy anymore. |

Gaviria being consistent here, but a win would be nice. Also we've yet to join a breakaway, completely different from 3 years ago.

Sneaky move by Herklotz there to keep the jersey! Sorry ember for that.
An ideal sprint result for us besides eBuddy with the ranking points for 2nd. The win goes to a weaker team (congrats Indosat!), third and fourth to the PCT teams (great job!) and no points to the climbers.
@roturn: not entirely sure you get to complain this much looking at where Groenewegen stands in the individual rankings
Tomorrow's an incredibly important stage, the biggest opportunity to create a gap to at least Gesink before the TT.
The Cat.2 looks hard enough to minimize the HIL deficit to him and Spilak somewhat, and the trident look of the profile after that should suit Silvio with his advantage in descending and acceleration skills.
At the very least, we need to be attentive enough to stay s.t. with everyone and keep the maglia rosa at all costs, ideally all the way into the TT.
