Oh God, that was stressful. I actually couldn't sleep last night. I debated pulling an all nighter waiting for the report.
First of all, my sympathies go out to Netia and Lierse. If there's one thing you can count on in PCM 15, it's puncheurs with high acceleration overperforming. On paper, Waeytens is better and Dyrnes should be right there, but the game doesn't see it that way. That alone would make me incalculably frustrated. Neither of you deserved this fate. It really was an all out struggle, and I just had some luck in the end.
I have to admit, I was scared when JJ was near the back for so long. Usually when he's gonna have a good day, he makes his presence known at the front throughout, even if he doesn't attack. I guess he knew better than me though. He knew Waeytens was on a bad day and Dyrnes had the inferior kick, so he just waited to outlast/outsprint them, and it worked.
Thank you so much for the report and the constant attention to the relegation battle. I'll get more into celebrating when the actual final rankings are released.
One final word: Marc De Maar, an absolute legend, finished his final regular reason race today. End of an era.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Congrats to Carlsberg. They did a stellar job late in the season, and thus very well deserved the final place in the division.
Very unlucky for Netia to relegate, especially after the shitshow in Cyprus and some ASO level race organizator decision. Should think of handing them the place in PCT if a team disbands.

Congrats BBL, while I'm gutted to go down, I didn't really want to see you guys go down either. You better make the most of your opportunity though, Ollfardh and I are giving up a lot for it!
We weren't ever going to survive this race, though the confirmation hurts. I was quietly confident before Maroc that we would survive, but Juul-Jensen remembered how to be everything Dyrnes wasn't and AKA decided he was actually a better sprinter than Ciolek, let alone Vantomme.
Besides Juul-Jensen is actually helping me beat BBL, I'm winning the MG betting and every cent comes from a Juul-Jensen bet.
Besides, not all is bad, we can keep our main talents core together and when we come back up in the season after next, our cobbles squad will crush the PCT.

Yes congratulations Carlsberg, almost forgot that!
To be honest, of all three PCT seasons, this was the only one were I actually thought we wouldn't go down. And it's not fair to blame it all on Waeytens either, but I'll wait with my conclusions until we get the final ranking.
I hope that I can keep the team together by just getting rid of Van Asbroeck, Waeytens, Vanbilsen and Pelucchi, but I fear my younger talents will also start big demands so we'll see. Gaviria is definitely staying, so take your stinking paws off him, you damn dirty PCT managers!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Season goal accomplished! Really does make me happy to win our home race! Season didn’t go as well as we were expecting, but I think we’ve got a good base to build around for the future. The team might look drastically different however...

Nerve-racking end to the season! Hoped to have a Belgian rivalry in PCT next season, so a bit sad to see Lierse go down. In the end Carlsberg is definitely deserving of a prolonged stay in PCT, though. Congrats!

Uh yeah us too totally
Sad to see Netia go down after some bad luck but as trek said they still have one of the brightest futures in the MG and could really go back to back over the next two years! Commiserations also to Lierse. Congrats to Carlsberg, I am glad to see them stay up even if I wasn’t supporting them and they made an absolutely huge effort in the late season to turn around their bad luck earlier on!

PT here we go baby!
Sad to see Netia go down, they joined PCT alongside us and while they betted on the future, we tried the easy way. Hopefully trek can find a way back without losing his talents.
Good season overall and we can now rebuild our squad with a PT budget. So exciting times ahead

Well, we failed hard in terms of collecting the 40 ranking points requirded to reach 2500 for the season . Thankfully we were already safely above the relegation battle. Betancourt as is his way content to sit at the back of the main puncheurs group to be in the worst place when the final gallop sets up. Hopefully (if we resign him), he will be more suited to PCM18 AI (?).
Think the results overall confirm the previous top 5 still in place, and Carlsberg avoid relegation on the final day- congrats to all. Commiserations to Netia and Lierse who fought right to the wire.

I think we are losing the final podium spot to Fablok, not much of a worry.
Pretty strong season from Bystrom overall, close to 400 points, which is twice as he did in 2016 when he was also in PCT with the same stats

A dramatic race to decide the relegation fight!
Personally I'm quite pleased with Caruso managing 9th and Le Gac also squeezing inside the Top 15. Le Gac's result, especially, definitely gives me some hope for going into the CT.
