While Moscon is only rumours, W52 have been informed that Rui Vinhas (2016 Volta winner) tested positive in last year’s edition. Betamethasone. |

To make things worst it was the guy that most attention brought to the race due to being full of bandages after a crash (mostly cause he was of Porto so it makes it main sports news), so yeah if our reputation was already what it was...

Kind of amazing how they didn't get a TUE for all he went through. I guess that it being Portugal in August they could argue he was dehydrated

I would say beating Veloso is enough argument for getting a TUE.

The very talented Sergio Higuita makes a mid-season switch to EFEFDPBC and will make his debut in California (behind Uran and TVG).

Was one of the guys I really liked when he surfaced, along with Betancur. Too bad those two stagnated for very different reasons.

Connor Swift makes a mid-season change to Arkea-Samsic.
About Moser, his career plummeted after 2013, that Tour de Pologne and Strade Bianchi wins were really good indicators of a notable career. Shame it didn’t work out. |

Operation Aderlass might have a lot more riders.
After Denifl and Preidler and the confession by Hondo some more riders apparently are rumoured:
Petacchi
Koren
Durasek
Bozic
...
Could become a lot bigger than expected some weeks ago and shows, that not a lot has changed since Operacion Puerto. |

Probably doesn't want to anger the doctor who used to prescribe him salbutamol by admitting he was seeing other doctors as well.
