Champoussin takes his first win of the season in an U23 one-day race in the mountains of the Ain! Hoping he can go for Avenir victory this year and have a nice final U23 season - but the likes of cio's Arensmann will be tough competition!

I'm sorry for being a little late with the sign-ups for this round, had some turbulence in April myself and an overload of work...
Draft 21.4.2019
Sign-Ups open!
After the Kick-Off Draft was taken on in Ocober/November 2019, players already gathered a couple of the very best young talents. Then in the February 2019 Draft Round participants took riders that looked really well over the winter. Now in the April edition it's time to check out spring results - especially cobbled talents will be hot on the market. As usual, you sign up by just posting here that you're playing.
Timeline for the April 2019 Draft
- Draw of pick order: 19.4.2019
- Start of the draft: 21.4.2019. 21:21 daily time
- 21 hours on the clock for each pick
- 1 round of drafting
- Sign-Up is open from now on
- New Paticipants can take an extra pick after the April 2019 draft has taken place, in which they can, make up for some ground they lost missing the kick-off draft.
Rules are the same as claimed in the opening post:
Draft System:
- Different system for kick-off draft than for future draft
- Randomized numbers (1-1000) determine draft ranking
- Each draft new draw of positions
- High pick in last round -> lower chance of high number in next round (lower range to reach up high f.e. 1-700)
How to draft:
- Your are allowed/wanted to post your choice in here yourself
- Draft lists are possible to send in if you can't post in time
- Make clear for everybody who you drafted!
Draft failures:
- If you post an invalid rider will be skipped
- If you post not in time (and didn't hand in a draft list) you will be skipped
- People are welcome to point out invalid drafts/order issues
- invalid drafts are allowed to be cancelled in hindsight even if unnoticed earlier without compensation
-> If you missed/failed your post, you can draft as soon as possible eventhough somebody else is on the clock
Eligeability:
- 21 or younger at the exact draft time
- male gender
- Pcm.daily time is the official game time
- Not the draft beginning time, but the time when you make your pick decides about whether a rider is eligeable or not
- No fictional riders are allowed
The draft will start at the 21st of April 21:21 daily time. |

I’ve got a nice list this time so I’m hoping that I don’t have to enroll in a deep search for someone random. |

I love picking someone random, although I guess that's easier after I already have the best rider from the draft

Nice. Will have to do some research. Also guess it is a nice time for updates on my team since last time:
Robert Stannard has rode many top classics, including Strade (a credible top 50) and all three monuments (120th in Sanremo, DNF Ronde where he did nice work for Trentin, and a nice 69th in Roubaix), after late call-ups for the two cobbled races, showing the faith MTS have in the 20-year-old! Seeing him talk about it it seems like some great experience for the youngster.
His biggest result came in the Settimana Coppi e Bartali, where he was fifth in the opening sprint and wore the leaders jersey after the TTT later that day. He's not yet publicly pencilled in for any upcoming races.
The young sprinter Bram Welten is having a great season so far, with five top 10s since last update, including two 8ths in reduced sprints at the HC semi-classics Nokere Koerse and GP Denain, again showing his "tough sprinter" capabilities. He also found another top 10 in a stage at the Circuit Sarthe stage race, as well as 4th in the Cholet - Pays de la Loire classic and a fantastic 2nd in a very tough Route Adélie de Vitré behind Sarreau, who is having a breakout season in the French Cup races and was on the move at Roubaix. Along with Coquard and Boudat, that quartet must be getting to know each other very well as competing forces for the top French teams! He's really continuing and improving his form as a classics/power sprinter. He also made his monument debut last Sunday in Roubaix.
Amateur Clement Champoussin finally made his debut in the pro races this season, with a solid showing at the Circuit des Ardennes, including a stage 7th on a hill top finish. Aside from the amateur classic win I mentioned last month, he has other good results to his name including 9th at the Piccola Sanremo. He's about to ride the Tour du Loir et Cher, a 2.2 race.
Eli Iserbyt's break after his CX season is getting a little excessive. Get a move on! In fairness his team haven't raced yet either. Did I make a mistake here? He's got two years to catch up to Van der Poel...

I'm in of course!
From our riders so far Hirschi has been the star with 10th in E3 Harelbeke and 2 stage top 5s in Pais Vasco! Conci has been a little quieter with 9th in the Youth at Tirreno and a stage top 20 in Pais Vasco, while Alexander Evans and Jaako Hanninen are yet to really kick off their season properly.
