Are we pasting this directly into B1, on top of what's already been pasted there prior, or in the first available space in the B column?

Directly into B1, it should overwrite the old table! |

Missed my one real FA target, but happy knowing someone else massively overpaid instead! And happy to see Sergio find a new home so quickly. The Caribbean project will have way too much spare cash for stupid research and scouting spends. One scout per island?!

Having failed to hire the Yates brothers, our team still has a lot of room in the budget and is looking to hire a solid WT scorer or even a captain for a package (wage + transfer fee) of 800 to 1500. We could do with a leader for hilly terrain or a good sprinter, but we'd look at any rider being offered to us.
I'm allergic to high transfer fees, I'm afraid, so the more desperate you are to sell, the more likely a deal becomes. Note that old Froome is still on the FA market and as a British team we might still bite the bullet and take him on for his final season, so timing is everything.

I'm still looking to sign some quality riders (read: leaders) for next season. I can offer cash, trade deals can also be negotiated. Almost anyone could be available for that. Please PM me if interested.

This btw is mainly for the CT teams who might be interested as these guys promoted me in an honourable way. I favour purely trades with no money involved, EXCEPT for my cobbled riders.
I've been nagging some managers with Tony Martin but now it's time to present what I really think he should be doing
Name | AVG | FL | MO | HIL | TT | PRL | COB | SP | ACC | DH | FTR | STA | RES | REC | Wage | Tony Martin | 78,3 | 78 | 75 | 75 | 79 | 79 | 60 | 64 | 63 | 65 | 65 | 73 | 72 | 73 | 900 |
Is he 34? Yes. Is he slightly overpaid? Yes. But would you imagine him in CT? Where currently the strongest TT rider is currently 78, and the strongest PRL rider is 77. And one rider only has enough climbing skills to be at his level. Yes he has 900 wage, but for 1 season he is ideal for CT, last year he had 74MO and got me a 4th place in Grand Prix of Sochi, a race with an actual mountain stage. Not to mention the ammount of races he ravaged, and the ammount of races he won at WT level
Name | AVG | FL | MO | HIL | TT | PRL | COB | SP | ACC | DH | FTR | STA | RES | REC | Wage | Age | Nelson Oliveira | 75,9 | 74 | 73 | 72 | 77 | 75 | 65 | 65 | 68 | 69 | 67 | 72 | 71 | 74 | 500 | 30 |
Oh and not to mention this rider, a mini version of Martin is also available for a nice deal. He evoluted from 70 to 73MO (!!) this season. Still has 3 more season in his peak level, and well he's just a treat right
Name | AVG | FL | MO | HIL | TT | PRL | COB | SP | ACC | DH | FTR | STA | RES | REC | Wage | Age | Stelios Ilias | 74,7 | 72 | 74 | 73 | 74 | 72 | 58 | 58 | 70 | 72 | 61 | 70 | 69 | 75 | 285 | 26 | Arnold Jeanesson | 75,1 | 70 | 76 | 74 | 71 | 69 | 58 | 65 | 73 | 72 | 68 | 70 | 66 | 72 | 320 | 33 | Abdraimzhan Ishanov | 73,4 | 71 | 74 | 72 | 71 | 70 | 59 | 61 | 68 | 65 | 66 | 69 | 68 | 72 | 180 | 29 |
This is the stage-racer department. Ilias is still 26, and pretty much a standard stage-racer, that with some years of training can easily become a CT major player. Jeanesson was very strong already last season, not a beast but his wage isn't high for a rider that promises results And Ishanov.. you must be thinking, why choose Ishanov if the others are stronger/younger.. Well his age of decline is 35(!!), meaning he still has 6 seasons to develop! His wage is also pretty low, and with a season or two he is certainly fighting for top placings in the CT mountainous racing.
Name | AVG | FL | MO | HIL | TT | PRL | COB | SP | ACC | DH | FTR | STA | RES | REC | Wage | Age | Antoine Pirlot | 73,7 | 73 | 60 | 68 | 65 | 65 | 75 | 68 | 69 | 66 | 71 | 71 | 67 | 65 | 200 | 29 | Romain Sicard | 72,6 | 74 | 70 | 71 | 65 | 66 | 73 | 72 | 70 | 74 | 74 | 72 | 68 | 72 | 155 | 31 |
Now these guys like to ride in rocks basically. Top cobbler rn in CT is 74, Pirlot has 75. That speaks by itself pretty much, and a 200 wage for a rider like that, it's up to you to decide if it's good or not. And Sicard, for a 155 wage you can get a rider who can climb and sprint at the same time and is a strong rouleur. And he won last season also in the cobbles
PS: Look at his development this off-season
Spoiler Romain Sicard
FL | MO | HIL | TT | PRL | COB | SP | ACC | DH | FTR | STA | RES | REC | 72 | 70 | 71 | 65 | 65 | 71 | 70 | 68 | 74 | 74 | 69 | 66 | 70 | 74 | 70 | 71 | 65 | 66 | 73 | 72 | 70 | 74 | 74 | 72 | 68 | 72 | |
Name | AVG | FL | MO | HIL | TT | PRL | COB | SP | ACC | DH | FTR | STA | RES | REC | Wage | Age | Frederique Robert | 75,3 | 75 | 64 | 72 | 62 | 67 | 70 | 76 | 76 | 75 | 67 | 73 | 70 | 72 | 335 | 30 |
And well, Robert lastly.. I remember his Tour of San Luis, climbing like a beast. And his dozens of top-5's in the sprints. And his occasional win.. He's a strong constant rider is what I mean, oh and he also can ride on the cobblestones!

Man, I have no luck with the free agents. Got only two out of 5 - Wout Poels and Nicolas Roche for bargain deals though. Too bad my attempt at Froome didn't work.
I need an transfer advisor

Froome in CT... yet another scary scary stage racer
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."
