Love this race! And this year we finally have a decent cobbler (who is missing from the preview btw). Teunissen doesn't really have a chance of winning, but a top 10 should be possible.

Nice to see Van Niekerk in the break. Really like his performance so far this season with plenty of breaks, so he's been good in "his role". Hopefully Wisniowski will still be near the front, even though we don't have to do anything in the peloton.
Edit after part 2: Great reading so far, loving the details.

I can't believe Declerq couldn't even make a 60 rider selection. Ridiculously shitty AI treatment here, the entire team must've done a Voeckler at the back and got surprised by cobbles on the route. Even worse that it's Benoot's fault.
What a shame, because I couldn't care less anymore now.

Tough luck for Grieg with Wisniowski... he looks like recovering the lost distance quickly, but he might pay for it later unless he has a super day.
And Vanbilsen unlucky too.
Btw, i would space a bit further each post, so you can actually read and react to it without rushing your comment

Have to admit that a report looks much better if the reporter as a PC that can handle running the game on full graphics

VSB gone, but I'm still happy for this performance in a monument. Plus having Nolf involved finally makes it feel like I brought 2 80+ cobbles guys to a cobbles race, even though I've been doing that all along.

Is this a crack at my old PC or a compliment? Everything is on medium for me in every report I do, with realistic sun rays (what makes it 5x better imo), display roadsides, quality of spectators, and realistic/reccomended filters and colours. Anything more (and sometimes even with this) and my PC can't handle, but I don't use it for anything much other than PCM really so it is running only that

Wow, that was surprising. A 5-rider sprint in Oudenaarde. Stallaert isn't as fast as Bewley, but you never know what can happen if he starts the sprint ahead...

In a good way, comparing how good looking is in the pictures of this race to my own reports
