Dunbar’s only riding the Italian classics before Innsbruck. So I guess it’s a win-win for both parties, Dunbar can get some competitive rythm before the end of the month and Sky have another promising talent in their squad. And I don’t think it’s a bad choice for him, either.
Meanwhile, two other Aqua Blue riders have found a team for 2019: Casper Pedersen at Sunweb and Larry Warbasse at Ag2r. |

Not really news but CN wrote this article about Wallays' victory, which I enjoyed, I like him and he is indeed an underated rider.
https://www.cyclin...-voeckler/
Anyway it really caught my attention, sometimes I (and many of you surely) ask what some rider is even doing in the WT, worthless and doesn't even get to lead anything at all.. and it shows such tactical finesse and planning into a kinda meaningless stage. The intelligence, strategic mind and experience are so important in cycling, I loved it!

Pantano is a big disappointment, really, no news about his future?
Arredondo got his peak at Trek imo, winning blue jersey and a stage at Giro, he had several phisical problems after that season that didn't allow him to perform. I read that he got surgery to solve his problem, but after that I have no notice about him (it was an year ago...)
I think they are trying to build a good team around Porte to compete at TdF, but something is missing, unless some guys are ready to solid performance at GT level, like Eg and Sosa indeed, Conci looks good also but still unripe
I have not heard anything about Pantano..But he faded really significantly it would be good to know what had happened to him.
yeah you are right about Arredondo. Regarding of Richie - firstly he needs to stay on the bike more than till stage 9 It will be probably his very last chance. Its pity that we will never know what he could have been capable of had he stayed on his bike
Extended with Trek untill 2020

Igor Antón's riding his last stage as a professional cyclist today, he announced. His career started going downhill after that crash in La Vuelta 2010, when he was leading. Makes me wonder what would've happened had he had challenged Nibali until the end there. |

yup too bad, imagine what this would have meant for euskaltel-euskadi. they would probably still be around if they had a Vuelta win to their name.

Schachmann joining Bora Hansgrohe is great news.
They now have Buchmann for the mountains, Schachmann for the hills and maybe at some point as well for the longer climbs and Ackermann for the sprints.
Great home talents to have with still a lot of room I think. |

Ciccone to Trek Segafredo for 2 years whereas Sosa has not been signed yet and hence he is questionable.
Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.

No JLT. One Pro cycling dropping the mens team to make a womens one (which i'm ok with). Not a great year...

Even though they are old news, Roman Kreuziger goes to Dimension Data, where he gets more space for own results, and Czech RR and TT champion Josef Cerny goes to BMC-CCC. |

Agree, Bora can suit better for him imo.

I'll splice together some footage and alter some images of pcs, it's a bit disappointing to see Sagan win a fourth time in a row, I really wanted Bardet to finally land a big result, but he is one of the world's best and frankly, he deserves it. It's weird that he never wears his rainbow stripes though, must get fined a lot.
We'll also have to never type that name again, or maybe daily can have an auto filter to replace it with a rider we don't see so much (or possibly replace it with Sagan? he wins enough that it won't seem out of the ordinary).
The EP will have one less rider, but we won't notice. Lierse in the MG will also find themselves with a second Dall'Oste, out of the blue, again we see him enough that there's probably two of him anyway.
It'll be tough, we'll have to isolate ourselves from other media outlets (unless they see our shining example and follow suit), but we can do it. The other option is to quit cycling, and I don't think I can.
