Abu Dhabi has 4 RDs and not 5 as mentioned in the calendar. Riders who have picked the race are allowed to update their calendar as a result. For those yet to send in your calendar, please note this.
Thanks to HuDCC for pointing this out.

I've received some more race schedules since the last announcement. Thanks to those who've sent them in.
Yet to receive stat updates for 2 riders and race selection for 4 riders (including the two who haven't updated stats). I have sent out reminders to them.
I am extending the deadline for stat upgrades and race selections to 3rd July. There will be no further extensions. Please send in your due tasks before then. If you don't, you risk missing the start of the season.
I've already started making the start-lists for the January's races and just need to add your selections to have it ready. The aim is to start this game along with the Tour

Looking forward to the start, though realistically we can't expect much from our riders early in their careers.

Deadline for tasks is tomorrow.
Two riders haven't sent in stat updates or race selections yet, and one hasn't sent in race selections, despite reminders being sent out. Not sending in race selections would see them missing the start of the season.
I can't extend the deadline any further.

Yet to receive stat updates and race schedule for the following riders:
Akos Molnar
Wesley Jensen
Yet to receive race schedule from the following rider:
Arnout Van Aarle
The deadline's tonight so please send in your tasks else you will miss the start of the season I'm afraid.

Game Setup and Race Rules It's time to get the season started. The following are the game-play rules that will be followed:
- All teams will have seven riders start each race except for Grand Tours where eight riders will start for each team.
- All races picked by at least one custom rider will be raced in 3D mode. All other races will be simulated.
- If all custom riders retire/miss time limit in a stage race before the last stage, the remaining stages will be simulated.
- I will start each race with Burgos, who will act as the control team. They will not have any involvement in the outcome of any race.
- Important race events will be included in the race/stage report as far as possible, with a special focus on custom riders.
- Race previews will be posted in the Teams, Riders and Races thread. This is also the discussion thread for the same.
- Stage and Race results will be posted in the Calendar and Results thread.
Stay tuned for the preview of the Tour Down Under, the first race of the season, to be posted later today.
Cheers and All the Best to everyone playing

Thanks a lot Abhi for organising, best of luck to all and can't wait to begin
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Alunderis will have to wait until March to get into the action. I hope nobody will have scored a single point until then.

Really looking forward to this - Guilherme Barbosa is riding the Down Under, so we'll see what kind of support he offers his teammates (if any) on this first stage.
One thing is, he'll be used to the extreme heat from his experiences in South America

Damn, probably shouldn't have put a point in REC, it was enough for the game to call Alunderis a stage racer. I'll have to try to change that in the future.

You can cut down my rider's first name to just Hector, will make the tables a bit better
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Awesome to see the season start!
Reporting format looks good, Ricco still has beaten Flosi a grand total of 0 times.
